And in most hostage and kidnap situations it really doesn't matter if you give into the demands. The hostages usually end up dead anyways. Which us what out economy is gonna be if this shutdown goes on much longer.
And as far as not trusting polosi and gang. What makes you think they don't mistrust trump just as much. Heck he acts like he is owned by Russia for crying out loud.
