They will never land.

If able take a vacation and take the family away from large population centers , listen to the news through my Ham and wait and see as long as I can.

Cool question.

I would celebrate first and foremost. If that equates to hitting the bar alone, then so be it.

It would be the most incredibly exciting development ever, in my mind. Then perhaps I would visit ATS and read all about how the craft is actually a hologram setting up the false flag attack.

Hopefully get rid of the sociopathic powers that be who have brainwashed and conditioned most of the population!!!

Turn on CNN, so I'd know its not really happening....

Ask them if they'd make some pancakes.

I'd ask for a ride.

If they were sat up there doing nothing? What could i do..

Day 1 panic
Day 2 wonder whats going on
Day 3 bored of it doing nothing now

bugout, hunker down, and sit and wait to see what happens. Not much you can do about aliens until there is more information...

1 How did they get this far without blowing themselves up.

2. Do we have to do whatever it is they did to themselves either by generic modifications or technological physical enhancements in order to survive or can we as a race go forward "Cold Turkey" Or, even "Wild Turkey" ?

There's a ton of blasé in the replies.

For good reason. What could you realistically do? Run around, scream and shout? Realistically speaking, there would be nothing special you COULD do.

True enough. The 'blasé' was pitched at how mundane the situation was being interpreted. Migrant caravans, #metoo movements and who uses what bathroom stall apparently rate higher on the social media Richter scale than a first contact and global threat scenario. If you're in a half-way decent mood, you have to smile and appreciate the irony.

Being in Australia, I would sit back and watch what happens to America.

If they chose to land first in America over say New Zealand where folks are down to earth, then there is more then just a "hello".

Maybe an alliance for power which says the aliens are all show or have a need for protection. They could have gone to the Russian Federation if that was the purpose.

Otherwise a show of power, the hurt us if you can and then it is OUR turn.

Can't think of any other reason to land in America first.

So we sit back and watch. Even if there is conflict, it may not mean the end of the world. What follows afterwards would be more telling.




If the aliens had good intentions, morals, ethics and power they might have chose Japan where ethics are important.

I would look at where they didn't land as more important then where they did land.

Well if an event like this did occur, no one would be able to get close enough to see any of it because national security.
Personally I would stockpile fast and find somewhere safe to hide in case of society breaking down.
I doubt any alien race is aggressive unless humans posed a threat to them, which we don't

What would you expect to see? Everyone will be able to see whats on the TV but life goes on and nothings changed except to finally learn we weren't alone.
