Protection Rackets work pretty good too. If they wont let you into the CIA as an Economic Hitman (to help them institute their global scale protection racket) you could always move to Bolivia, buy yourself a gang of street thugs, train them as "ninjas", and set up a smalltime protection racket down your block.

I am still waiting for that public recruitment portal for Venezuela nation building to open up to the public like the YPG in Syria. At least I would be closer to home, and can speak the language. Obviously, I would send you greeting cards regularly.

First we have to liberate ourselves from tyranny.

Pretty sure You're socialist and You say "Evil Trump".

I'm pretty sure at some point already today I've been called a "conservative".

Pretty much all of the countries bordering Venezuela are being invaded by desperate refugees now.

I'd call that incentive enough. None of them can support the entire population of Venezuela, and at what point do you move from passive border control measures to actively trying to move against the conditions causing the flight?

Tell them that. Let them sort it out for themselves.

We've got our own border crisis to deal with. Maybe we ever get that right we'll talk about other peoples like the wise, instead of like hypocritical zealots.

EXACTLY! My thoughts exactly. I do not believe Brazil would become involved unless they think it a good time to grab that little nipple jutting out into their zone. Its all jungle though man. Whatever does happen, if it goes into conflict jungle wars are second to none, with mountain fighting a close second. These are jungle mountains though, It will be ugly, it will be bloody. Thousands could just vanish completely with no trace.

I cannot even fathom how countries secure their borders within a rain-forests on mountains. Its quite the effort just getting troops and armor there without an airlift operation.

We've been waiting for this for a long time. We had to do it even before Maduro, when Chavez was there.

Maduro is so ignorant that he not even understands the meaning of this measures. I see invasion as the only way.

You American do like trampling other country's with your jack boots....

That's the only language Maduro understands. That's what he does to his own people.

So yeah, let's go clean the house. It wouldn't take more than 48 hours, his generals will surrender or run to other countries with fake IDs. The big party after that will last more.

Yeah cause US "liberation" is always so easy and successful.

No one WANTS or NEEDS American "liberation".

you did read the OP right? The plan is Colombian troops, who already have a history of decades of fighting such fights and would have a better understanding of the lay of the land and factional control along the line of contact. US Air support was the extent of our contribution.

Then again, you only have to take the capital to win a domination victory.

I'm not sure I like this. I mean, this is a sovereign nation. Sure, the leadership sucks, but how would Americans feel if the UK or Russia or China announced that they thought that our leadership was ineffective and were going to put pressure to effect regime change?

Seriously. It's worth thinking about.
:

Yea thing is people are dying because of the sucking leadership.

Venezuelans are fleeing to my country and things are getting dangerous in the border since we don't even have enough resources here for everyone.

Obviously isn't the same situation as invading China or Russia. Or them invading America.

It's all fun and games until they show up demanding access to your social services.

Unlike many coming out of Central and South America, people from Venezuela could claim refugee status. Now how many coming from "Venezuela" will be able to prove they are coming from Venezuela? How many Central and South American countries have been perfectly happy to facilitate the human train coming over our southern border?

Use Al Qaeda (heroin narco-terrorists) to invade Syria, use Columbian (coke narco-terrorists) to invade Venezuela.

You should have joined the Obama Administration. Too bad Hillary lost. Wait there's still TrumpCo. So much change!

I would say besides Israel, China is one of the worst countries for accepting foreigners ie diversity, yet so many who promote diversity also stick up for China! wtf is up with that rationality?

Quite frankly, I am all for ANY country who promotes taking care of it's own before allowing foreigners to come in and demand the country changes it's culture to accommodate theirs when they have no desire to assimilate to the cultures of the country gracious enough to allow them entry.

That's RACIST!

But we should embrace China's recommendations for how to Gestapo social media, the MSM, etc domestic surveillance, and so on, at once! Like they have been doing.

China Presses Tech Firms to Police the Internet
Picture an internet where tech companies are deputized as crime-fighters, where censors keep radical views in check and where governments work together to achieve global order in cyberspace.

That is China’s vision, and its third-annual World Internet Conference that ended Friday was aimed at proselytizing that view to tech executives and government leaders who assembled here from around the world.

China’s efforts to promote its concept of the internet had fresh resonance as Western minds now debate whether social media sites should screen out fake news, or if smartphone makers should help police gain access to the secrets locked away in the devices of suspected criminals.

The Colombia armed forces do not come close to being narco terrorists, especially in the way the Mexican government and military became.

They are a sovereign state that could soon have legitimate national security concerns over their dangerous neighbor government and we would be more than ready to cooperate And assist them from the air and sea with a limited number of advisors embedded on the ground.

A sensible action considering our deep and established friendship after helping g them take out the competition Pablo Escobar

Some people in the US do not even understand that if you exhort other countries into not doing business with a very specific country and then let that country die, just so that you can put someone in place that is nice to your own interest, then of course that country will go down and die. And cause massive revolution after it all happens.

Then you can pretend and tell the world "Oh look see! we need to heeeeelp them!" And lots of dumbasses will nod in acceptance, then forget about forever once "things are right"

But i wonder if the same thing would happen if in the first place no one would meddle in that other countries affairs. Were they ok before or only things got worse after bringing them down with sanctions and all that? Ask it to yourself, honestly.

I guess will never know

Shame, Shame, Shame

Go have some yummy dinner, other people can't in Venezuela. Your country earned it for you

Hi I am in Venezuela and I can tell you middle class up would welcome a Invasion. What's left of of middle class anyway. The ones that are poor and dependent of social stuff coming from the Government have to eat from garbage. No Leadership has the balls to intervine in here because the backlash that would follow an intervention. In the other hand USA has to deal with this Government of Venezuela and bring it down or in short it will spread this type of "Cleptocracy" in South America. Supported by Cuba intelligence don't subestimate your foe. The so called President from Venezuela does not allow common Military to have Ammo, in fear of an overthrow. So a swift surprise attack would not have resictence at this point. The USA can ignore the whole situation put some sanction's but in the end you will have in some years your own socialist Gov and have the same problems Venezuela has now.

De a poquito a poquito Maduro les metió el Dedito
