Babies stabbed by crazed knife attacker in New York City

SEVERAL people including three babies have been stabbed at a daycare centre in New York City. The incident happened at 161st Street in Flushing in Queens and the NYPD said a woman has been taken into custody. According to NBC New York, the ages of the infants stabbed - two girls and a boy - were not clear, but one of the little girls is in a serious condition.

Humans are the worst thing to ever happen.
I could not imagine being one of those child's parents.
Cue tough guy posts about all the terrible ways they would hurt this person.

Some people are sick. Even one is to many but 3 is just evils vil.

The suspect, a 52-year-old woman who is believed to have worked at the overnight nursery, was found in the basement. The NYPD spokesman said at this stage none of the injuries suffered in the attack were life threatening.

I wouldn't have pegged that as woman as the one doing that.
If you said 3 babies smothered I would think woman.

No life threatening injuries thankfully.

People are sick. If you have serious mental issues, you should not be allowed to work anywhere near children. I'm sorry but the childrens' safety trumps anyone's perceived human rights violations.

Just glad there are no life threatening injuries. Hopefully, those injured are young enough to completely forget about this horrendous incident as they grow up.

Poor kids, the attacker must have serious issues, good on the cops taking her alive to face justice.

A mentally ill woman it would seem, course assumptions.

People crack all the time and there is no reason to stab a baby.

Who knows? The source article, NBC, states,

"It wasn't immediately clear whether the day care was licensed." (Carroll, Creag et al)

Plus, 4am can be construed as open for business and thus people were there dropping off their babies early AM before the morning commute, Queens traffic IS legendary.

Maybe she is mentally ill, perhaps psychotic, certainly twisted, deranged or demented, but likely just plain evil.

I'd rather refer to horrible people like this woman as evil because sick gives them an excuse and implies they can recover to become a normal human being again. I doubt that anyone capable of such an act and following through with it could ever be considered normal again. Even if they get better, they could always have a relapse.
