If I recall correctly the Bush and Obama admin wanted to shut down all the phones and even the internet during any "worthy" national emergency.

This "test" which was NOT created by DJT is seen as an invasion by many. Then what was the feeling behind making sure LESS information from a direct authoritative source happens vis a vi obama's efforts?

Consider that if HR6166 Military Tribunals go into effect, would it not help the entire planet to have at least one source of direct information that doesn't come with "I think what the president is trying to say is..."?

I've got an old no-contract burner that hasn't been charged in quite a while. No service either.

I'll check it out in a bit. I'm curious now.

Did not receive alert, possibly because the service time ran out. I don't think that's smart, but okay.
