Uh mostly (probably 99%) in blue counties. What a farcical argument you have there. I live in Missouri and I know what I just said is true. Saint Louis city and Saint Louis county and whatever county Kansas city is in account for 99 percent of the murders. And in those places 90 % of the murders occur in black neighborhoods. Black neighborhoods that vote 90% Democrat and have done so since the 1960's.

Here is another source:

Mundi

Pretty much the same data.

I won't be responding again to your petty questions, as I don't want to drag the tread off topic.

Definition: Intentional homicides are estimates of unlawful homicides purposely inflicted as a result of domestic disputes, interpersonal violence, violent conflicts over land resources, intergang violence over turf or control, and predatory violence and killing by armed groups. Intentional homicide does not include all intentional killing; the difference is usually in the organization of the killing. Individuals or small groups usually commit homicide, whereas killing in armed conflict is usually committed by fairly cohesive groups of up to several hundred members and is thus usually excluded. Source: UN Office on Drugs and Crime's International Homicide Statistics database.

*shakes head* Go for it. Open a Gofundme.

I've looked at Florida, in Uruguay. I've looked at a couple European countries- but looked at places that are quiet, sleepy places. I've looked at Japan. I've even gone over the edge and considered Antarctica!

As for your ever so bland comment "You think peeps don't die in other countries?" YES, I DO. However- this place has already had 2 people in 2 days try to spoil a fight with me. What was I doing? Little more than existing! This country has become little more than an open air asylum, and I want out. I am not going to spend my days wondering if simply sitting somewhere, someone is going to decide I don't need to live, and put a bullet in my head.

I was told that a**holes are everywhere. It's true- but in some places more than others, a**holes are EVERYWHERE. When it comes to quantity, it's a place I do not want to be.

You must not travel much and only watch news.

Hell....I live in Atlanta....millions of people of all walks. I walk my dog every day with my little girls all over the place.

I let me 11 year old ride her bike down the road to get ice cream by herself.

I even leave my doors and my car unlocked at home!!!!!

Seriously....quit watching the news and go outside and do something.

You do realize you're breaking this down by country right? And you do realize that US states are the size and even the populations of many countries?

Do you see why the data is a bit skewed? You would have to combine many countries to get to the population of the US, or break the US down into states, THEN do a per 100k to get real numbers here.....

And sorry you think my question of data set date range is silly....I tend to like to know the level of intelligence of the people I deal with and what level of actual knowledge they have to discern the data they regurgitate.

Happy to be done....I can see you just regurgitate info without actually thinking it through.

It is hard having a logical discussion when the other side can't even grasp basic statistics...

You do realize that this is a per capita measurement, don't you?

On the last data set I posted the murder rate for the United States = 4.9.

Do you think 4.9 people got killed?

You are really pushing the limits of willful ignorance.

Go on with your bad old self...

I don't watch the news. I get to deal with unhinged people regularly. It's not everyone- but it's *enough* people.

It might be where I (have to) live, too. The general IQ is about the same as a loaf of moldy bread around here. I do have to ask- where in Atlanta?? I was downtown some years back, made a wrong turn, and almost didn't make it back out.
Went for a walk.

Sounds like you have not got any coping skills to me. I grew up poorish in Ohio, then joined the military. Lived in and visited 40 states, plus most of Europe, Australia, Japan, Korea and the Middle East. I live in the UK now as a matter o fact. And gee, guess what Beaver, they is good and bad everywhere! OMG, who knew!

Coping skills man, try some.

Your flip attitude is amazing. You must be hilarious at family funerals...

I kept wondering WHY it was taking so long to find out something about this shooter.
I assumed it wasn't a white male because the MSM didn't say anything within the first 15 minutes.

Yesterday, the news told me the shooter was a woman...Name but no picture.

This afternoon, I finally found out from conservative radio...the shooter was a trans-gender person.
