But it's more fun and has more money and power potential to suppose it's all our fault.

Not ours anymore. It's the cows.

Did you hear about the study/research of adding seaweed to the cows diet to reduce methane?

the plants and trees use Co2 to produce oxygen at least thats what ive learned back then in school long time ago,

You were taught wrong or you didn't pay attention. Photosynthesis uses CO2 to to make carbohydrates. Oxygen is produced by splitting water.

No. My source does not say:

which the plants then turn it into the oxygen humans need to live.
sciencing.com...
Which is really bad syntax, btw.

here is a science for kids article that may be easier for you to understand

In these experiments about plants you will see how a leaf creates oxygen that we breathe from sunlight.

I'll stick with the more detailed explanations. But that source does say that CO2 is used to make food for the plant. Not to make oxygen.

Leaves take in carbon dioxide and through the process of photosynthesis they create food for the plant.

Oxygen doesn't come from the CO2, it comes from water. Which is what I said.

whereas the dark reactions, which use that chemical energy to fix CO 2 into organic molecules, take place in the stroma of the chloroplast. In the light reactions, the energy of light is used to "split water," stripping a pair of electrons from it (and causing the two hydrogens to be lost), thus generating molecular oxygen.

Clever yes. Smart....remains to be seen.

The ground, probably. That's why I water my plants. Am I doing it wrong?

oxygen is a by product of the -synthesis- of c02 and water

It is a byproduct of photosynthesis, yes. But lets look at the post I replied to:

what about deforestation, did even "algoresme" had it in mind ? no because he doesn't benefit from it

the plants and trees use Co2 to produce oxygen at least thats what ive learned back then in school long time ago, al gore ever mentioned this? no, his concern is about Co2

www.abovetopsecret.com...

CO2 is not involved in the production of oxygen. Water is.

It's a common misconception, I'll grant that. But it's wrong.

Great question! Plants produce oxygen, because when they photosynthesize, they take carbon dioxide (CO2; a gas-form of carbon bonded to two oxygen molecules) and water (H2O; an oxygen bonded to two hydrogen atoms) and combine them using light energy to produce sugars and oxygen.

Your link is broken but it doesn't matter because plants don't turn CO2 into oxygen. All of the oxygen comes from water, none from CO2.

All of the CO2 is combined with other elements to form organic compounds.
