This guy admitted he wasn't in the building when he started tweeting. He wasn't under his desk, he did not hear the perp reload.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) - The Annapolis man accused of shooting at police during a 22-hour standoff was identified Wednesday as 35-year-old Samuel Miller. He is accused of shooting at five officers during the incident, reported Anne Arundel County police Wednesday. Miller is being held at a local hospital and will be charged after being released. He will be charged with five counts of first-degree assault, five counts of second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, vandalism over $1,000, discharging a firearm and related charges. The vandalism is from damage to departmental equipment as a result of Miller shooting at the officers, according to police.

Arnold, MD — An Annapolis man who allegedly charged police with a knife is under guard at a hospital on theft charges. Anne Arundel County Police received a report of man carrying a knife who was acting in a "disorderly" manner about 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Kinloch Circle in Arnold. While en route to the call, police determined the car driven by Samuel Irvin Miller, 34, of 665 Red Cedar Road in Annapolis, was stolen that morning from the Bank of America at 491 Jumpers Hole Road.

In the incident Tuesday, police said Miller called the department, saying he had taken illegal drugs and was home alone. He barricaded himself inside the house on Red Cedar Road and shot at responding police officers. None were injured and officers did not return fire, the department said.
