Steel does lose up to 50 percent of its strength at 650c. Steel does glow at 650c, and people may call that melted. Steel is more pliable at 650c.

We don't know how long it took for the low temp fire + the nano-thermite to meet each other on the steel girder at column 79. The spread of the fire on floor 13 could have taken a while.

What you think will happen when the 400c office interacts with the nano-thermite. The heat will spike up to the melting point of Iron and Steel.

Steel did not lose half it the strength it evaporated and disappeared. Steel beams and girders have huge bits taken out of it. Cooked means the steel experienced very high temperatures

How does any of that prevent thermal expansion of steel? That steel loses is strength as it heats up. The damage to WVT 7 is unknown. That weekend floor trusses sagged. That steel contracts when cooling.

The steel girder got knocked off its seat (thermal expansion). Fasteners stop the steel girder from moving laterally, the plate stops the steel girder from moving laterally, shears studs are attached to stop the girder from moving laterally.

If the steel girder seat disappeared sure that could bring down that girder. But what more likey the cause CD or an office fire at 400c? Which of the two can evaporate steel members?

You can not stop thermal expansion of steel. It will find a way to expand. Is that false? If it cannot expand, then it will bow, or buckle. Then it will cause failures upon cooling and contacting.

If the steel girder was unsupported like NIST claims sure. You probably see sagging but not a knock of its seat. This has not what NIST claims and never got modelled.

Iron steel needs to reach a temperature of greater than 5000f to boil and evaporate. That is science.
