Beautiful pics.... but I don’t need fancy warrior’s armour , or fancy lights to fight my battles. Mostly I use prayer, and if needed a few words ( I try not to be superfluous with my words )...and in extreme cases, I’ll use a bat if I have to.😉

I asked a priest once about defending yourself from someone who wishes to do you physical harm. He said that if we are to love our neighbor as ourselves... and we should lay down our life for our brothers.. then we should be willing to do the same for ourselves. Made sense to me... 🤔.. so now I don’t feel guilty having a bat behind a door in case any intruders think of surprising me. 😁

Another tune by the band Fin just introduced us to.

I really like this one... suits the Shed.

The pain I can avoid when sitting but the swelling is starting to get worrying. I think it's just the heat though. I need to spend longer on my posterior than 2 weeks apparently. I done gone did it good, nyuk nyuk. I have enough beer for a week but only enough tobacco for a day or two perhaps. Life is pain.

I know one thing. The employees in the tobacco shop will never forget me. I mean that in a good way.

ETA Is it just me or wasn't today the day that Blue finally was operated upon?

Bahahaha! I don't own any armor or fancy tights. I suppose I would wear them once in a while if I did.

I laughed when you mentioned a bat. I don't have a bat either, but would use whatever is handy to defend myself or anyone who was with me.

The pics are powerful, intense and get my point across. We all have our own power in some sense.

Light Hun, use an ice pack or frozen peas or whatever and get the swelling down. Frozen peas...yuck! LOL
You may have done more damage than you think and need an x ray. Isn't there any way you can get that foot checked out??? And isn't there anyone who can get your food and whatever you need?

Ruby red slippers? I would love a pair of ruby red shoes. I used to have a pair of red, fake suede pumps. I used to have knee high purple boots. I like color.

I just painted my toes and finger nails and now sewing a couple of things.

Are you sitting out by the brook alongside the Shed? Lovely day for it. The faeries are dancing and dragons are soaring about. Flowers are blooming in assorted colors. Just don't trust the fat frog in the corner. He may try to convince you to hop around. There is a nice bench out there and even a hammock. Or...a nicely padded lounge chair. Just rest!
