Thanks Mate and I intend, as you prescribed, to take a few days off.

The job in it self was wonderful, it is my trade, which I take great pride in, it was the atmosphere that was killing me.

I must work the last two days for the money, even though I feel like an ogre for what I unwittingly did to that poor girl, with out a chance to make amends.
And her mother will kill me. Seriously. She is a giant fat white trash she devil that every one stays away from. I am terrified and with good reason.
I am scared to go shopping should I meet her with her euntourage of three grown clone daughters that she hauls around every where. On top of that I am now leaving in bad standing, my reputation is shot. This sucks
I do deserve better, but the pickings are slim at my age.

So early this morning i came home after a sleepless night at friend's place. Then i saw your post and started to think about what i want to say. Just slept about 3 hours, had my coffee and time has come to reply.

Quitting a job and starting another one or seeking for one can be super stressful. Easily comparable to moving from one house to another or ending a relationship. But i know that you are strong, and i have a huge amount of faith that you will get through this. You might be shaking now, but your stance is firm on the foundations and will keep you on your feet.

These are growing pains. You are about to begin a new chapter in your life. I want to wish you some wolf courage in your situation now.

Actually Facebook announced it to me. I don't remember anyone's birthdays. Sometimes I miss things in my announcement section as there are so many things coming through, hence while I was late.

I returned your credit card. It's under your mattress. I even left a card with all the partying money I have been using. Happy Birthday!

I can imagine some lost tourist couple accidentally walking past you in your hammock and mosquito net in the middle of nowhere thinking "What the...? Quick dear, walk quicker....shhh..."

Oh, you had a birthday? Well, i am a bit late as usual with this, but happy birthday!

So that means you or the pixies can put a little bit of scotch whisky to this night time coffee of mine? No, not actually, i am on a week long alcohol break which will end on monday. So i think that means you can have a double then! And with that, here, have a double cupcake!

Thanks Timely. I just ended twelve days with an average of ten hours a day, one day off, with out a "Thank You, for filling in when every one calls in sick". I suffer from chronic pain that is exasperated by physical stress. My trainees are not given adequate time to train so their mistakes are blamed on me. And I am expected to pick up the slack.
So I will lighten up when hell freezes over, or I find a job that doesn't require me to crucify myself every day.

I come in here because I love and trust you guys to give me a hug when I ask. I listen to every one and contemplate my replies even though they at time may be late.
I come here because I feel safe, because I feel people care.
I don't expect people to solve my problems, just a hug.
Over the three years I have been here I have seen so many people gain courage by the compassion of The Shed. I need it too.
Sadly my nearest family are 4000 miles away, in this rural setting people mistrust "strangers". So when ###t hits the fan it gets pretty lonely.
This stress level has been held for allmost a year, I am done.
Sorry about my rant Timely but it hurt.

Wow You are one awesome Fin. So well written and encouraging. Especially the "Wolf Courage" thing. You are an inspired writer.
But and there is a but that I must address. Growing Pains.
Yes I have a goal of continuous growth through out my life.
New Chapter.
I am at a point in my life where I am tired of "New Chapters". I just want to settle down.
You have no idea how much I have traveled and moved, buried loved ones, said good bye to loved ones.

I just want to settle down to a simple life.

Thank you though. I have seen how you struggle and come back up with kind words, and how you keep striving, that is an inspiration to me.

You are entitled to your rants Wis. I'm glad people can't hear me when I rant. I talk a mile a minute and there are a lot of Grrrr's and claws about to come out like a pissed off wildcat. It doesn't take me long to calm down after, but during an episode it can be either comical as hell or scary. I'm not sure which one. LOL
