Sorry for the dose of reality. I'll be happy to shut up now. Please, go back to discussing his wonderful social demise in peace.

Such a benevolent martyr, thank you

I really think that the left is using Hogg as a spokesman so that he won't be criticized (because he's a child).

It's why I have been openly critical of him and his message.

Theater is the best word to describe it, for sure.

This guy is a play actor of the highest order.

I just described this whole thing as a perfect storm. We have a fella that wanted to get into journalism. That fella happens to involved in an incident that gets national attention. That fella is enough of a sociopath that he jumps at the chance to get his face on camera.

The media sees a fella they can jump all over and who will happily go along with it.

Voila, now we're here.

Yeup.

That's it, in a nut shell.

Following that vein of thought, I wonder if this kid even believes the utter rot he's spewing? Or does it just fit the persona he's selling--with the help of his media brethren?

I think he does believe it, yea. If you watch the video he took inside the school during the lockdown, he's had an obvious angle from the very first minute. Literally.

Maybe you're right. In fact, you probably are. I've been avoiding his various rants since the march/protest/whatever, as I'm not inclined to give him the clicks, but he does, in retrospect, come across as something of a zealot, never a good thing...

So you're probably right, but I can't help but have that niggling little doubt.

It would just tickle me pink if he happened to get mugged and shot by an illegal immigrant.

How ironic would it be if that happened to Laura Ingraham?

Careful what you wish for....karma has an uncanny way manifesting itself on the requester.

It wouldn't be ironic at all. It would just go on to prove what she's saying.

Me thinks you may need to read up on what 'irony' really is.

It's hilarious that he wants to be a journalist but instead of acting like a journalist and taking the jab, he's acting like a far left wing nutcase.

Do we have here the making of a anti-gun cult? He's the new age Jim Jones. He's loving all that power people are giving him. Can't wait till he stumbles cause when he does... It's going to be YUGE!

Sounds like he drank a little too much cool-aid to wash down that tide-pod.

Screw it.. Give that kid another tide-pod!

Most of all I am sorry he has such bad parents that would allow him to be used like this and embarrass himself on a national stage.

He's accused the NRA of being “child murderers,”
He calls people who don't agree with him “pathetic #ers that want to keep killing our children,”
Accused Marco Rubio of taking money in exchange for the lives of students,
Claimed NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch “doesn’t care about these children’s lives.”

Just listen to this POS..

Not going to waste my time listening to him make an even bigger fool out of himself, but we do think alike it seems. I had the same thought: where are his parents in all this?

Probably scared silly, to be honest. I cannot imagine what goes through a parent's mind in such a situation. My son was in a government lockdown over a potential shooter a while back, and even though I was watching FBI, TSA, AL Troopers, SWAT, and every law enforcement division from miles around add to the compliment of military personnel he already had around him, I was NOT a happy camper! Those poor kids just had one inept, cowardly deputy.

But the question still remains: why would they allow him to run this route unchecked? Do they not realize his life is going to be destroyed once he is of no more use to TPTB? A washed-up has-been drowning in his own political baggage at 19? I would hope someone would come to his rescue, but he's probably mired too deep in the muck already.

Sad.

Says a man who is stuck in his basement listening to Die Antwoord 24/7 to a man who has spent time in a real war zone.

This kid is nothing but a little snot who is in the public eye for
now.Sooner or later he will be "old" news and someone else will
take his spotlight from him.

"Hi, I'm David Hogg.. You may remember me from such school shootings as Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, where I was there, but also at home getting my camera. Ahha haaaaa.."

This kid is loving the attention he's getting. This stopped being about the shootings the second he pulled his camera out in that classroom and started videoing himself. Key word "himself", that's what it has turned into for him.

Yep.

I'm over him. Not the subject matter mind you, but him I'm done with. He'll be yesterdays news soon enough. Though I do wonder, a bit, what will become of him after his 15 minutes are up.

So you'd be cheering an illegal killing an American? What a twist!

You should be ashamed for saying that and so should anyone who starred it.

He seems to fit the mold of a politician, someone who's self-absorbed and will saying anything to get themselves ahead in life regardless of the casualties. So that would be my guess, either that or an anchor/journalist for CNN.
edit on 4/1/2018 by 3NL1GHT3N3D1 because: (no reason given)

Sounds so much like our current POTUS. It’s eerie, actually.
