If Burger Clown (AKA McDonald's) NOW serves 100% fresh beef, what in the HELL have they been serving people before now?!

i.imgur.com...

The mind boggles....

Previously, their patties arrived at the store frozen. Now they are shipped fresh.

Wendy's has been using fresh beef for a long time.

I'll bet ya $1 the things will taste just like they did when the stuff was frozen.

I don't know, as I haven't eaten their stuff for quite some time, but I would bet that it isn't any better.

As teenager, I watched the buyers for McDonalds and Oscar Mayers buy cattle at the livestock auctions and let's just say that the beef that they bought were not 'Prime'.
Think old, tuberculin milk cows that were ready to die.

Well it's minced and then tenderised and then plenty of fat added
Throw in some sauce and it tastes alright to me

It's a burger after all, not a prime cut, it doesn't cost like a prime cut

Like fresh or frozen makes a damn difference.

Just like the famous anus beef....
Oh, I mean Angus.

I grew up with cows, believe me when I say that the fricken breed doesn't change the taste.
The feed might, the breed don't.

This is just a marketing ploy to appeal to the spoon fed masses.

Agreed.
Feed definitely changes the taste. I have had beef that was from a steer that got into wild garlic in the springtime and that meat was preseasoned! (not good though)

Breed affects things like bone size and the amount of gristle in a cut. Farmers care about breed due to the time it takes various breeds to 'finish out' , ie: how long it takes to add the weight and fat required to market it at premium prices.
