So, with your logic here, if a woman was wearing underwear made of a flak vest, and a guy just walked up and grabbed her privates while she was asleep and could not consent, it'd be okay, too?

Your analogy is incorrect--you don't wear a car door. I get what you're saying, but I don't believe that a court of law would agree with your claim that there is zero guilt in that picture.

She also says he had a chance to apologize for pressuring her into a kiss.

So, the apology acceptance wasn't all roses. I wouldn't gloat about how your party is better at handling it.

I don't see ANY Republicans as of late who have been accused offering to participate in an ETHICS investigation.

So. There IS that.

Caught that as well, huh?

Typical leftist OP of course, never let a tragedy go to waste. Extra fail on the moral ground.

Prior military, I use to see this kind of behavior in the Army, full battle rattle and all. Course we didn't sweep it under, but we kepted it in the family and disciplined those that thought they were being funny.

Probably a comforting call from Hillary made her see the light!

So as long as you say sorry then assault is fine. I wonder if you would feel the same if it was you?

Has anybody offered you a job running a rape crisis center yet? The offers will be rolling in soon I'm sure.

"kept it in the family"

Isn't that "covering it up"?

No, I see people ANGRY because a situation like this was handled maturely and without major drama.

No, covering up implies no action taken.

"In the family" is our platoon, our squad. We squash issues in house before having to resort to higher chain of command.

Infact, our sexual assault prevention classes show a variety of ways to confront the issue, from a simple "Don't do this again" to a straight up complaint to the sexual assault and prevention officer, NCO.

Do you really think he'd even admit he'd done wrong if that photo hadn't surfaced?

Did you care to research and read further? Kansasgirl did a good job of showing how messy it was initially, so once again, FAIL.

If you join the Military, you WILL have to take classes on sexual assault and prevention measures and get certified to show you know.

Hahaha.

I see republicans caalling for moore to step down.

Ant calling for Mendenz who was accused of sleeping with underage girls to step down?

And why did al wait to call for this investigation into himself until he wasd caught. If he knows it was inappropriate as he says, why not call for it years ago?

And why only an ethics investigation, why not a criminal one?

Priceless!

A thread actually celebrating Franken for this!

ATS is awesome!

I get your point.

I get hers too.

I wonder who wants to make more of this than it is.

(I don't, it's the media)

You honestly think he assaulted her through her vest?

WTF are you talking about user names for? Does yours reflect the ages you target or something hence you associate mine with females as well? (makes about as much sense)
