That is pure, unadulterated, partisan nonsense.

The reality is that my side does do some things I don't like! But, its when the other side does them that they become wrong.

This is subtle and nuanced stuff. Whenever my side points out how its the other side that's bad, it is absolutely not habitual deflection. It is the very core of centrist philosophy and the Only True Path to being non-partisan.

Therefore, I will continue to solely point out the wrongs of the other side, while completely ignoring silently pondering my own side's issues.

This unbiased, non-partisan approach only appears embroiled in hypocrisy and double standards to those enraptured in their own subjectivity.

If “All politician suck” (quite the generalization there), why do you/we vote for them?

Do they suck before they get elected, or does the “suckiness” only start after they get in office?

If they suck before they get elected, why do we elect them? Are they somehow able to hide their suckiness while campaigning? If so, is there a way to expose a candidate’s potential suckiness before he/she has a chance to get elected?

If such a test existed, would it really make a difference? Would everyone agree that a sucky candidate is a sucky candidate and not vote for him or her, or would some argue that even though all the candidates suck, the candidate that they support “sucks less” than the other candidate(s), and is therefore the “best choice”; even though they still suck?

Maybe, if politicians don’t start to suck until after they get elected, it’s not the politicians that suck after all; maybe it’s the system they have to work with that make them do sucky things?

Maybe it’s the system that sucks?

Or, maybe the system is fine and politicians really DO suck, but WE only want, and will only elect, politicians who suck the way we want them to suck?

Maybe we are the ones who really suck?
