Obviously, they are getting by through a loophole. Thus why the genetics report showing defects. Amazingly, baby Jonah was born two days later and a clean bill of health...no defects detected. It must be a miracle!

i'm sure the tests showing defects weren't done by the abortion clinic. so please explain to me exactly how that scam works? does the clinic kickback to the doctor who does the ultrasound?

I thought Planned Parenthood did ultrasounds.
That was part of the big to-do when the secret videos were made. PP said that they provided much more abortion services, like prenatal care.
I just did a google search. They do ultrasound testing.

Also, if you look at their YT account, they seem to produce similar videos pretty consistently, claiming to expose these late term abortions.

But the clinic is still open and no charges have come out of it?

Something is off here.

A miracle, or this is complete bull#.

I have no idea if some doctors may get kick backs?!? I simply stated the fact that after the child was born...it was tested and miraculously had absolutely no defects. Obviously, there is a problem somewhere in the legitimacy of the testing. That perhaps need to be investigated.

Your link goes to an article titled:

Gabriel’s mom aborted him but changed her mind. Then something amazing happened.

As for your video. This video is heavily edited and a chop shop. It is untrustworthy and the same type of bs that the pro-life zealots send out to lie to people to get them to side with their cause. You can see this because the video's time stamp as she enters the building is dated 9/1 then after the intro splash screen it is dated 8/30.

so according to the video, the woman had multiple tests indicating her baby had a defect known as trisomy 18, which usually leads to a baby that doesn't survive the gestational period or the birth, or dies early, or if it survives has numerous horrifying birth defects.

en.wikipedia.org...

please stop acting like this was thought to be a perfectly normal healthy baby that a woman was pretending to just want to abort on a whim. no clinic would be compliant with a late-term abortion like this without a medical reason.

I'm not 'acting' like anything - get over yourself, I added the info about the tests in the OP.

Why do I sound mad? Because my logic you're implying because it's not 'perfectly healthy' it deserves to be tortured to death.

And yes, if you listen to the video the 'nurse' states she's had great success doing this. So who cares - they fake a test - get their money and the babies body parts.

Oh - and the good news? This woman's baby was born perfectly healthy after TWO test.

What does that tell you? I know it tells me, as I said there’s sound reason to think they're intentionally faking tests to get baby body parts and the cash.

Just pointing out that clinics that do abortions have the capability of doing ultrasounds.

I mean, you were saying that this clinic didn't do ultrasounds, and another facility would have to do the ultrasound for a kickback. I don't know that it is true.

I don't think this is PP related, but the Southwestern Women's clinic in NM says:

FETAL INDICATIONS PROGRAM
(Albuquerque, New Mexico only)
We recognize that patients carrying a baby with fetal abnormalities have specific and special needs and we have services geared especially for you. We work closely with genetics counselors and Maternal – Fetal Medicine specialists to meet requests for fetal testing. We offer individual and group counseling where we discuss the feelings surrounding a late fetal indications termination of a loved pregnancy.

Why shouldn't it be heavily edited? Want to sit and listen to a bunch of mindless babbling on with that nurse and I'm sure the woman didn't want all her private infromation 'out there' in the public.

So what if she entered the clinic on one day and dated another, or whatever. Or are you one of those people that think movies are really filmed from the first scene to the end?

Oh, and I'll sign myself off as: Pro Life Zealot.

I couldn't be more pleased at be named anything if I tried other than if you‘d added ‘Christian‘ to the title.
Thank you.

Before you all get your panties in a wad, I support a woman's right to choose, even if I do find late term abortions to be an abhorrent thing.

If that what it takes to prove you aren't distorting your message to pitch a view that isn't conducive with reality then yes. So basically you are telling me you are ok with editing as long as the video is telling you what you want to hear.

So what if she entered the clinic on one day and dated another, or whatever. Or are you one of those people that think movies are really filmed from the first scene to the end?

Because editing makes the video suspicious.

Hey if you want to be ok with mindlessly believing something without proper vetting then do you, I just assumed ATS members would like to deny ignorance. I can't help though if you would rather wallow in your own confirmation bias instead of questioning your own sources properly.

PS: What's with that mis-titled link in your OP?

If the video is edited to make a point - well, that's the point of making the video now isn't it?

I don't know why you would think editing a video would make it any less telling. Just chop out the stuff that's not needed and get to the meaty parts. Makes sense to me. You no? No problem.

And it's only in the 'Breaking Alternative News' you have to add the title as it is written in the article. The title was too long and I didn't want it truncated.

you've certainly done your part to minimize that end of things, and imply repeatedly that the clinic is doing this for profit and so they can sell baby body parts on the black market, which is an urban legend you anti-choice types love to go on about but has definitely not been established. you just 'know' in your little hearts it MUST be true because abortion is soooo evil.

Why do I sound mad? Because my logic you're implying because it's not 'perfectly healthy' it deserves to be tortured to death.

that's a bit hyperbolic. in cases like this, medical professionals ask whether it's more torturous to force the baby and its parents to live through a short, brutal, painful life, or to be quickly aborted. you would make a different call, i get that. but it's not an unreasonable call to be made in a direction opposing you and your anger.

And yes, if you listen to the video the 'nurse' states she's had great success doing this. So who cares - they fake a test - get their money and the babies body parts.

and there you go. there is nothing here to suggest that great success means anything other than a successful procedure... but to you it's some kind of big money baby parts conspiracy. that's just crazy talk.

Oh - and the good news? This woman's baby was born perfectly healthy after TWO test.

What does that tell you? I know it tells me, as I said there’s sound reason to think they're intentionally faking tests to get baby body parts and the cash.

bless her heart and yours, that's wonderful that her baby is healthy. the tests are reasonably accurate but just like pregnancy tests themselves, there are reasons that results may vary from time to time.

there is NO sound reason to think this is about profit. if you really think that maybe you should spend your time trying to find REAL evidence of that instead of making baseless accusations and stirring up hysteria in yourself and others.

Well if all you are looking to do is sate your confirmation biases then I guess so, but it isn't admissible evidence. You are trying to prove wrongdoing right? Well any defense attorney would make swiss cheese of that evidence on the time stamp discrepancy alone.

I don't know why you would think editing a video would make it any less telling. Just chop out the stuff that's not needed and get to the meaty parts. Makes sense to me. You no? No problem.

How do I know they didn't chop out key pieces of conversation to make it appear like the conversation is going in a completely different direction than it did in reality? The CMP videos were found to be edited like that for instance.

And it's only in the 'Breaking Alternative News' you have to add the title as it is written in the article. The title was too long and I didn't want it truncated.

So the kid (Gabriel) who survived her mother's abortion decision is the same 37 month old fetus that was aborted in the video?
