Louisiana is special. My girlfriends dad lives 40 min west of Nola, so I go down often. I love the ocean and wildlife. It's like all the the good things of Florida without the Florida!

Lol. I've heard all the crazy stories but my one experience in Fla was a good one.

I would love to explore some more Loiusiana. I truly fell in love with that city and it's mysterious but vibrant atmosphere.

Thanks again for the great pic! Feel free to post more if you're so inclined... I plan on uploading a few more from other places at some point.

Ha, awesome.
Was just looking at this picture I have of my gram (yesterday) in front of a Broadway show in 1980 NY... and I'm pretty sure that in the background, clear as day, is Gilda Radner looking straight at the cam. Either that or a perfect doppleganger. Cool!

He had everybody on board. Like 5 kids and the nanny he left his wife for. It was quite the show. That's one big head.

Ha! I don't know if he's a Milton Berle or Scott bakula but I doubt he's using a corked bat with that brood he's got

Oh boy, blushing scarlet here (ego was the type of head I meant... it's so egotistical to break up a family for the nanny! but that's just my opinion).

LOL!

i dont have any pics to share. i have been a few places but always by air.
traveling by sea is out.

my preferred method would be on 2 wheels.

i went from Ohio to Boston once on an older Honda and it was cool.
i want to travel around Ireland and South Africa on a Harley though.

i am still trying to put together my South Africa trip. i have a friend there. the plan is to travel a ways up the coast on a bike with him side by side. it will not be a harley cause of what is available there but a japanese or european bike will be just fine.

Unfortunately on fire as I type ... 1500 structures lost with at least 1 dead. Thought and prayers with the poor folk dealing with this.

Yes. That's probably why I haven't posted any of my Caribbean or Mexico City pics.

I grew up in California. That's a state which is on fire a lot.

Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

I have decided to celebrate their beauty like Ruth Gordon from Harold and Maude would. Beautiful places in a beautiful world. The more people realize what is lost the more help they will receive.

Yes, part of the impetus of this thread is a response to all of the terrible news out there! This still is a beautiful world as well as terrifying.

But absolutely a good reminder to pray for others who are suffering now.

Same here in Oz. coming into a potentially bad summer.

I was in California in '05 ... loved Yosemite ! Astoundingly, so pristine !

Also did Vegas, Monument valley, GC , Meteor Crater in AZ. Stayed on the Navajo Nation plus lots more.

The people were just lovely. Interested, friendly and most helpful ! 👍
