Info, I think it may have been Blaine who posted a snippet of the relevant statutes for this. The organizers of the movement and the NYT have actually engaged in seditious conspiracy as well as several other federal offenses. The key to building a solid case in such an indictment would (just IMHO) be one or more of the conspirators taking some overt action in furtherance or support of the conspiracy. However, most of these laws require no such action on behalf of the conspirators to convict.

Either way, attempting to depose a duly elected and installed President is most certainly illegal, and the USSS would never permit any such action against the President. That is overlooking the myriad of federal agencies (FBI, DHS, ATF, etc) and military forces who could be utilized by POTUS to suppress an insurrection. If I'm not mistaken, the precedent for doing just that was set in the civil war? Don't quote me on that, as it is 100% from memory (re: civil war).

How cute... they really think 100s of thousands of people are going to join in their insanity.

Even so with what sticks and rocks?

I now wonder, does it make me bad for being a fan of the constitution, and being proud of my country, and not liking a violent uprising? I somehow don't think an intelligent person could do the mental gymnastics it takes to suggest that.

Great, a bunch of violent nut-cases are mobilizing around the country on November 4th and they actually think they are going to overthrow the government!

Those running the US into the ground thru endless war and debt, you mean those "bunch of violent nut-cases" ?

God forbid anyone should actually protest against that.

Only idiots protest success.

I don't think so.

Nope. You don't want Trump in office, you vote him out, next go 'round. It's that easy. Of course, there's the little problem of finding an even remotely palatable candidate, and the one's I've seen mentioned aren't worth the energy, or gas, it would take to fart in their general direction.

Not expecting any issues here and if so it's supposed to rain all weekend and that should take care of any blood.

Precisely. And Citizens have the right to defend themselves. If you're in a stand your ground state, you have the right to defend yourself in any location you have the legal right to be in.

A violent mob (with or without weapons) is considered a deadly threat when engaging in aggressive conduct. The mob is also typically treated as one single entity, legally. As always, know your laws because that is just my opinion not legal advice.

There is absolutely no benefit to antifa actually carrying out these actions - PR or agenda-wise - so I wouldn't bet on any catastrophic incidents tomorrow. Any attacks or defensive incidents that arise from their stated intentions will only decrease public support for their cause/methods, and may result in a government crackdown (which trust me nobody wants).

Nevertheless, to err on the side of caution we're staying indoors all day.
