You'd have to think, after the Clinton furore, that the new crew would think things through.

Considering they spent over a year campaigning feeding that exact "furore" they must be more aware than anyone, and yet have chosen to subvert government record keeping in their email communications despite the risks.

Why?

They are BACKLOGGED, when the DNC is processed and punished,THEN we can hit THE RNC ,THEY actually HAVE security so IT PROBABLY won't work since the bankers have better LAWYER that NEVER worked for the ACLU...but only if classified information is ACTUALLY passed deliberately to enemies of the state.
Jihadist factions, interior militant activism and actual espionage from enemies of the state, are the target points, here.

Yeah, you see, there's no coherence just double standards.

Could it be that there is a genuine concern that everything on Administration servers is tracked,
filed away for later perusal (maybe, probably)

Kushner et al believe that they can squirrel awayor even bleach things
by passing through different accounts ?

That would make me therefore think that there are nefarious reasons for doing so.

Do we know if anyone else in the Obama Administration was chided for the same thing ?
How about during the Bush years ?

Imagine the outrage if it came to light that Pearl and Cheney were discussing Irak,
bypassing the W/H com channels and going through their hotmail accounts !?!

It really does make me wonder if the internal coms system are not that secure,
are relatively easy to hack and whilst being known about,
it can't ever be talked about publicly...

That would be a massive National Security Issue

It has been an evolution that has followed the digital revolution.

As email became more prevalent, more an more record keeping protocols were put into place.

Yes, many in the Bush Admin had personal emails for government business, but it was an evolving practice without clear guidelines.

Hillary started under less than clear guidelines, but Obama put them into place during his administration.

The Trump Admin is moving backwards in this regard and their are laws in place now for record preservation, FOIA and National Archives purposes that were not in place a few years ago.

It is more flagrant and more illegal than it was 5 years ago.

During the election season last summer and continuing into today trump and his supporters have rallied around one salient point when it came to his opponent. That she was a criminal and should be in jail.
Lock her up.
All of his supporters and surrogates led the battle cry. They included claims of using a private server and email account for government business thereby subjecting classified or essential government information and dealings to hacking and other cyber risks.
And she was accused of hiding the fact that she was playing fast and loose with government information by deleting damning emails from the server.

Now it seems the shoe is on the other foot.

Kushner used private email to conduct White House business.

The senior adviser set up the account after the election. Other West Wing officials have also used private email accounts for official business

residential son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner has corresponded with other administration officials about White House matters through a private email account set up during the transition last December, part of a larger pattern of Trump administration aides using personal email accounts for government business.

Kushner uses his private account alongside his official White House email account, sometimes trading emails with senior White House officials, outside advisers and others about media coverage, event planning and other subjects, according to four people familiar with the correspondence. POLITICO has seen and verified about two dozen emails.

www.politico.com...

So what is the difference here...except that it's trumps administration that is using private e mails.

Will they start a new battle cry.. Lock him up?

Probably not. It's not a crime now any more than it was a crime then.
But will his supporters agree? Will they see the hypocrisy? That's a question for you guys.

Lol...the situation is apples and oranges compared to Clinton. Clinton used a private server and had emails deleted and couldn't be retrieved after she had the hard drive bleached. Every one of Kushner's emails can be retreived after subpeona and I am sure they will be.

Lol...10 months later and you guys just cant give up.

How about this one ...

As soon as you represent whichever 'club'
requiring an officiel "emai @.org "
you are gonnna be open day for phishers
big time

anyone tried to mail [email protected] ?
Y'see, it's worth a try to a scammer and his buddies

If i was head security honcho (Mattis !?!)
i'd be saying, use your own private account
you know it's comings and goings

But, under recorded, volontary surveillance,
for the time being...

Maybe in 50 years time
we'll unearth hair-raising documents
