It's so fake

The level of collective delusion about North Korea on this thread is insane. And laughable.
The country is a somewhat insane combination of communism and inherited personal rule. The Kims relied on the USSR for their power for years as they militarised the country to ludicrous levels and only keep their power because of those arms and the threat to Seoul. Their policies are basically to stay in power by any and all means, which means keeping their military on their side. The place is a shambles, the agricultural policy is a joke, there are work camps all over the place, there is no freedom of speech, the number of cars is a joke, the number of houses that have power at night is a visible scandal (try looking at a satellite picture of NK at night and then compare it to SK) and the average North Korean is visibly shorter than the average South Korean due to a terrible diet.
