I will bet you feel the urge to eat like them too. Dear God man get a hold of yourself, before you fall into the trap of ideology which brings about idiocracy. The country is already on the Cusp. One hate group hates another hate group and doesn't want the other hate group to demonstrate against the same government that the one hate group demonstrates against. Maybe it is to late and idiocracy is upon us. Insanity running amok.

Perhaps the problem is that you've been identifying yourself with the Alt-Right because, like a lot of Trump supporters during the election, you weren't entirely sure what the "Alt-Right" was so you just assumed it was some label mean Lefties decided to smear you with?

"Alt-Right" isn't synonymous with Trump supporter. "Alt-Right" is a term that Richard B. Spencer coined to describe his clique of white nationalism. It's supposed to be hip/edgy and connote a difference from the mainstream right-wing without screaming "we're actually just repackaged neo-Nazis."

It's not something the Left made up as a pejorative. It has an actual origin and a meaning. I posted about this a year ago. In fact, I posted an article about the Alt-Right, from Milo Yiannopoulos (An Establishment Conservative’s Guide To The Alt-Right), published on Breitbart:

Alt-Right White Nationalism Straight From Milo

The responses speak for themselves.

It's not the Left's fault that the social media troll army supporting Trump was drawing unwitting Trump supporters into contact with the white nationalist fringe. Take Matt Forney. I'd see people linking to things he'd say on Twitter about Clinton or WikiLeaks. After all, he was retweeted by somebody like BakedAlaska or maybe Mike Cernovich. He was hanging out with Milo right? He was hanging out with Cernovich. He had a cartoon image of himself as a blog logo. Must be a cool guy, right?

No. The guy is an effing white nationalist douche bag. Here he is at the Identitarian Ideas IX conference in Sweden. Notice this screencap isn't from the evil "opposition media" and they're labeling Forney EXACTLY how he would label himself, Alt-Right.

A lot of Trump supporters had no idea — they just saw MAGA MAGA MAGA MEMES MEMES PEPE! I LOVE PEPE! MAGA MAGA MAGA!

Making it harder to tell wtf is going on, you have the "Alt-Light" or "Alt-Lite" — again not a pejorative made up by Leftists but rather one made up by Alt-Righters. Up through the election, they were happy to coexist in adjoining cars on the Trump Train.

Once the election was out of the way, they immediately started to fracture. That's when Cernovich and BakedAlaska had their falling out (read about it here on an Alt-Right blog). Fast forward a few months after the inauguration and they're having competing rallies trying to attract the attention of the same people to feed them different but not unrelated programming.

‘Alt-right’ and ‘alt-lite’? Conservatives plan dueling conservative rallies Sunday in D.C.

Spencer, who coined the term alt-right to describe the nativist right-wing movement, said those who splintered off to create the competing rally were “alt-lite.”

“A movement needs a good purge,” he said. “If these were really top-notch thinkers, scholars, human beings, I might try to reach out to them. Being that they’re not, I think it’s good to just cut off the fat.” He added, “They are going to look like losers.”

Mike Cernovich, a conservative writer who has been criticized for endorsing conspiracy theories and is a sponsor of the anti-political-violence rally, was critical of Spencer and Sunday’s competing event.

They are losers who can’t draw a crowd without us,” he said of Spencer in a direct Twitter message to The Washington Post. “They should stop being garbage people who throw Nazi salutes rather than cry when we won’t hang out with them.”

Do you see what Cernovich is confessing there? How much more plain can it be made? This isn't anything that the Left did to Trump supporters. We didn't make up these names. We didn't suck you in with yammering about being "woke" and "red pilling" and all this other stupid /pol/ and /r/The_Donald horsesh#.

And when we tried to tell you who you were climbing into bed with, you pointed your fingers at us and played the victim card, "I'm a deplorable!"

People on ATS, signalling their affiliation:

There's people with the "based stickman" as their avatar here because they falsely assume that these assholes clashing with antifa on the West Coast are somehow just average Americans turned anti-antifa. No. In Kyle Chapman's case, he started a group of "Proud Boys" (Gavin McInnes's violent alt-light "Western Chauvinists") he named the "Fraternal Order of Alt-Knights."

Official Proud Boys - The Kids Are Alt-Knights

Kyle Chapman is a thug who spent 10 years in prison. He's too stupid for the Alt-Right, he just loves Trump and "freedom" and wants to beat up people. But you meme him hard enough and long enough and tell enough stories about how he's out there to "protect" good people from evil "commies" "paid by Soros" and idiots will make him into a hero.

Here's hoping recent events cause Trump supporters to be a bit more discerning and stop blaming people because they've been cavorting with neo-Nazis and the like because they're only as deep as the next stupid meme.

I honestly don't give a damn what anyone calls me. My opinions are mine, not those of some foreign dictator or group think. But people have accused me of white privilege in the past, because while they were at university being taught 'history' and I was working my arse off, the facts remain I am white and they are not.

Sod that with a pickle.

People want to group together and attack another group over their perceptions of life, fine. I will be sticking to my opinions and beliefs, and if that makes me alt-right whatever, so be it. History will remember this time as the age of autism.

But I refuse to submit to the insanity being peddled. Get your heads out of your proverbials, ya left wing fruitcakes.

As an old PM here once said "Go get a job..."

Man, you always hit me with that TLDR. I do appreciate the effort though, and i did read it all.

I was actually aware of the alt-right, it was more of a rhetorical question and my rant was almost satire. Me personally, I don't belong to any group, I've said many times that I am an individual before anything and I could really care less what people want to call me or label me. I know who I am, and I'm very confident with my beliefs and my convictions. It was just after the recent events that this rhetoric was ramped up and it seemed like this label was being thrown at everybody, mostly from ignorance and hatred, so I felt I needed to address it.

Yeah, its getting to be pretty nuts. Nothing good with come of it all. There are some genuine rage monsters lurking in all those passive aggressive types. They harbor an obsession towards hating Trump and those that give support.

I measure people. If they are Agent Smiths, I am Mr Anderson. If they are cool, I tell them I like Trump.

Its like a secret club in NY that many are part of and you just never know. I cant complain, it must be a freaking lions den in California.

I only need to avoid the issue with people that hate him. People that just dont like him or a his stance on a particular issue I out right tell I support Trump and why. We talk like nothing.

LOL. Do you hear that Knowledge? Apparently you are the one that is identifying with the alt-right, or lite, whichever. The point is that it is not the left that puts all people on the right in the same box, its just that since you are on the right you must be a racist. I will bet you probably use the bathroom just like Hitler did too. That connection automatically makes you a white nationalist. lol.

The problem is all these fascist 'alt-left' ISIS supporters juxtaposing sparse white supremacist extreme ideology with widespread traditional conservatism to tar and feather them together under the banner of the 'alt-right'.

..see what I did there?

Through their constant lambasting and subversive blanket shaming, the left is literally manifesting their demons into reality to stand on the graves of their constituents and say 'I told you so', as to further their narrative.

The hard on adrenaline rush the MSM and these socialist agitators get from tragedies like this, is the gaping hole of hypocrisy their gonna fall straight back to hell through.

Try turning off the screens and opening a book, studies have shown it improves reading comprehension skills.
