My wife uses Uber. She grew up in a huge city where you use the public transit system. She can drive but hates highway driving. Not all who use Uber are what you claim.

Postmates and doordash also report back after each delivery how the merchant and the customer were. Some merchants and customers are then known by the company to be difficult people.

Some of u Uber/Lyft riders do not deserve deliveries, you don't tip and act as if you deserve respect. meanwhile we are doing you a service.

Reminder, its cheaper than a cab or Taxi. I also save your drunken butts from the cops

I've used Uber to and from the airport to keep from leaving my car there. I've used Uber when we've driven out of town to visit family and stayed at a motel. I'd rather use Uber and feel free to not worry about indulging somewhere unfamiliar and then have to be concerned with getting back to the motel.

I think the concept is brilliant, and although I'm not a frequent user, it's been a pleasant and inexpensive experience when I've done it.

Certainly less expensive, more timely, and a lot better smelling than those taxis that look and smell like a feral beast gave birth in the back seat just before picking me up.
