How convenient. So this guy is not going to testify. I cant believe this is even allowed really. No accountability at all.

Glenn Simpson, whose Fusion GPS firm has been tied to anti-Trump efforts and pro-Russian lobbying, will not talk to lawmakers in response to a subpoena, the leaders of the Senate Judiciary Committe said Friday.

Then They go on to say this:

Fusion GPS has said it had nothing to do with the Trump Jr.-Veselnitskaya meeting.

“Fusion GPS learned about this meeting from news reports and had no prior knowledge of it. Any claim that Fusion GPS arranged or facilitated this meeting in any way is absolutely false,” the company said in a statement.

So if they had nothing to do with it then why make yourself look guilty by pleading the 5th?

More and more shady stuff hitting. The dems are eventually going to have to answer for their colluding ways.

He has to continue to hide the truth about the Dems
that hired Fusion GPS to collude with Russia to
dig up dirt on Trump.

If he testified, he would have to reveal Hillary
also worked with Natalia Veselniskaya in anti
Magnitsky act legislation!

Crooks and liars, the bunch of them.

Looks like they're desperate and don't know what to do about it.

Many exposed phonies are like that.

Surprise.....not really. I can already see the hypocrites invading this thread. Pleading the 5th is only an admission of guilt if Trump associates do it. I know this is frustrating my fellow american friends but keep on fighting the good fight. They all will have to pay the price eventually. # like this only strenghtens my resolve. Trump is truly one of the good guys.

surprise, surprise, surprise........

actually, not surprising at all. this had set up written all over it, when you peel back the layers and look at the players involved. if he pleads the 5th, it is evidence Fusion is hiding something, which most of us already suspected.......the whole damn things stinks.

They are also afraid to be questioned about the dossier.
If they are forced to admit under oath that it is fake...the entire basis for the Russia/Trump narrative collapses.

And because this thread is not anti-Trump we can expect the Trolls in 3 2 1

They will eventually get to one of them. If the pressure builds enough and it appears they may take the fall, a plea will likely be reached.

Trouble with that is that it is likely compartmentalized. Meaning if FusionGPS takes the fall, the Dems that paid for the report and those that praised it as real would likely be able to claim ignorance because they trusted a former MI-6 operative to tell the truth, even though he himself has already said it's unverified and did not give permission to release it.

Not really....truth tends to attract less posters that fictional Russian stories and junk reporting of guesswork about presidential pardons and such.

I have plenty of threads here similar that die out pretty quickly because of the proof and evidence presented...makes it hard to argue and plenty here just don't want to deal with reality right now.

Yeah....that part was hilarious. Nothing to do with the meeting, but we won't testify because our dossier was faked and those paying us would be really ticked of the last year was proven to be a waste and faked....

Talk about ending some careers.

If they were forced to admit it was fake...my guess is there would be a huge inquiry into those that employed their services and into those that spread the false dossier.

Here's to hoping!

It could be that they are looking to cut a deal.
If so, it should be considered.

Odd how all the Dems involved are having to have closed sessions lately right....

Something big is about to pop.

Just makes it that much harder to find the evidence. Also makes the circle known when it happens. Pleading the 5th, closed Intel committee sessions, etc...all in the same line.

Absolutely and finally, a real discussion.

This was to be known, the only thing I would of like to see is there were any smug looks.

You can rest assure that this will continue to be investigated.

Why is it that Democrats and their employees always seem to plead the 5th or do everything they can not to testify? Hmmm.

It was Glenn Simpson who was the very person named as lobbying against the Magnitsky Act along with Natalia Veselnitskaya, the lawyer in the meeting with Trump Jnr. Small world, heh...
