I mean seriously they keep saying Nazi this and Nazi that

In fact I wonder why don't they also focus on countries like Imperial Japan or the Soviet Union both whom are totalitarian governments that mass murdered many people and are just as bad as the Nazis.

Here's my guess as to why the word "Nazi" gets thrown around so much:

Whoever has been developing the curriculum for the past 60 years has been very selective about which atrocities to pound in to every psyche and which to gloss over.
Simply a product of the education system, imo.

I find it so odd that the Bolshevik's genocide against the Christians and clergy (starting 1917 and resulting in at least 12 million dead Christians who were targeted for their beliefs) is NEVER discussed in regular history courses. Or at all really.
As far as atrocious, how about developing a technique for skinning hands using a steel comb? Yep, the Bolsheviks had one camp which specialized in this.

Anyway, mans inhumanity against man is never lacking, sadly.

....because when you're at the end of your tether and life is bleak and your illusion exposed, you come to realize that the only way for your version of peace to be realized is to kill everyone that disagrees with you so you subconsciously fantasize about doing exactly that (Hitler is the posterchild for this fantasy) whilst you accuse those you hate, constantly, of being that which you secretly and actually are.

Well I go to a liberal college in LA and I have a professor who is not a Trump supporter (He called him a man baby) and doesn't believe in conspiracy theories admitted to me that the Liberal Coastal Elite dominated academia and that they seem to have a hatred of working class whites and that they engage in Political Correctness.

However, he told me if he openly expressed his views he'll lose his job.

I have another professor who told me he will lose his job if he was caught teaching students about the dangers of Radical Islam.

In addition, there are Regressive leftist SJWs (Black Lives Matter, Antifa types) and they make a lot of trouble like disrupting conservative speakers and pulling fire alarms.

Ironically, I've yet to converse with someone who considers themselves a liberal who has called for the deaths of anyone based on disagreement over political ideology. I've had numerous people who consider themselves conservatives call for the death of all "libtard snowflakes". And that is a direct quote from a reply to a Facebook post I had made a couple of weeks ago.

I really fear what would happen if they come to power. Right now in South Korea, they have their own version of SJWs supporting North Korea and wished Fat Boy rule over them while calling for US troops to get out of South Korea.

Mark my words if the SJWs have their way in South Korea, North Korea will takeover South Korea with minimal casualties.

I have expressed the following view on another thread so forgive my redundancy but..
Either higher ed shapes up or I think it will be out on its broke a** within 20 years. Who is going to pay 300,000 for a worthless degree?

Some of it is projection, but some of it is a realization that their old standbys (racism, sexism, etc) have lost effect after they badly overused them the last eight years and that they need to find a new derogatory label to apply to those who dare disagree and that they think allows them an automatic win in any argument.

Probably because Nazis are the only politically correct super-villains.

BULLSNIP! The Nazi Party was founded as a liberal, leftist party. Hitler railed against capitalism, embraced socialism, championed a government system by which the government WAS the people and was massive, they nationalized their manufacturing sector, pushed HUGE social welfare programs funded by "division of profits," federally disarmed their people, ran huge deficits to pay for social programs, had laws that protected animals from abuse while embracing the dehumaization of people, to portray them as even Right leaning is a bastardization of history and a lie.

Look at the 25 points and tell me these are conservative or right leaning for that era. The primary difference between the left and the positions of Nazi Germany is found in a shift from nationalism towards globalism. If you remove the nationalist propaganda from Hitler's platform and replace it with the modern left's "we are citizens of the globe" BS, you'd have a platform which could easily win a DNC nomination for POTUS in today's USA. Points 8 through 22 and Point 25 could have been directly cited by Bernie Sanders last election and nobody would have thought him to be in any way off kilter to his embraced positions.

The SOLE connection to Nazi Germany and modern conservative politics is found in the aspects of nationalism and national protectionism.

He killed the Marxists. There's a difference. Socialism dictates that a central government has fascist control over the elements of production, land, housing, etc and doles out the profits to the workers. Marxism is closer to anarchy, with no ruling central government existing outside of constant conflict to hold the position until the next uprising.
