InfoWars' Alex Jones Is a 'Performance Artist,' Lawyer Claims

(MSN.com)-The Alex Jones who told his legions of "Infowars" listeners that bogus stories about the U.S. government being behind the 9/11 attacks and about Hillary Clinton operating a pedophile ring out of a Washington D.C. pizza joint is really "a performance artist."

That's according to Jones' own lawyer — not the mainstream media that the right-wing radio jock derides as "fake news."

"He's playing a character" and is nothing like his online persona, attorney Randall Wilhite reportedly insisted in a Texas courtroom at a pre-trial hearing ahead of the right wing radio jock's custody battle with ex-wife Kelly Jones.

This probably isn't a surprise to many, and it wont matter to the many of listeners he has.

He has always told people to "wake up", maybe a lot of people will now.

I thought this had already been established years ago.

Controlled opposition, nothing more.

Of course his attorney is going to say this. It is a child custody case and his ex is trying to limit his time with his kids. His attorney has to say he is a performance artist to take away from the negative image his ex's attorney is painting of him.

This is family law attorney's doing their respective jobs.

Strange that a lawyer would tell the truth about a client. Alex has outed himself for very real personal reasons.
I remember when he was on Austin Public Access TV. He is an entertainer, folks, who has found his nice niche into the public's TV sets and minds. Sure, he probably has some strong beliefs, but he ain't no legitimate Linbaugh either.

Certainly a lot of his stuff is an act. He may genuinely be passionate about his beliefs, but you can't tell me all of that grunting and snarling isn't a show. It certainly is.
