What is the "strangest" idea or concept you have that most people have never even considered?

Hi,

If you're like me, you came to ATS, not to talk politics, but in search of things mysterious. Strange things. Unusual, even fantastical! Things that are outside the mainstream that are considered "out there" on the fringes of human thought and inquiry. Your heart was quickened in the pursuit, your curiosity was peaked and your mind, tweaked, as your whole paradigm and worldview hovered like a butterfly the edges of an epiphany even if it only on the basis of a mere inkling... and then it went away, the heightened sense of drama and imminent discovery, over, as you yawn and think to yourself, maybe there is no final ah ha moment and no great dramatic resolution when all the pieces of the puzzle come together.

It wasn't something that you already knew, but something that you knew you didn't and needed to know, very urgently.

Curiosity and the quest for new discovery drove us here, but what astounds me is the general malaise and lack of drama or that nothing much is really happening, nothing truly earth shaking and world changing as we yawn and go back to our old way of being all safe and sound in our own reality tunnel, worldview, paradigm, prison.

That is one strange concept idea, that IT hasn't happened yet, while we remain, imminently and urgency, at the very leading edge of a complete transformation in every area of life on Earth and in the way we see the world, ourselves and those around us, while the unwashed masses (in ever shrinking number) continue to consume celebrity culture and mainstream media and walk around, however blind and ignorant, as entitled know-nothing millennial Gods, in their youth and vitality and sense of immortality. lol

I am very interested in my fellow man's "out of the box" thinking and ideas and pieces of knowledge and discovery, and when you go out of the box or outside the "norm" at the same time, in order to check your own sanity, it's important to subject these news maps of reality and understanding to our fellow man.

That's where all the fun is, and that's the purpose of this thread.

My own strange concept idea, or one of many, which I'd like to share with you in this thread while hearing yours, is this.

I believe that we are already entering the omegapoint of the cosmogenesis of the noosphere (because of the internet and because the world is round), where it's not a piece of technology or hardware, even biological, that will save the world from ourselves, but a great joke of some kind, that we will all marvel at, because of its capacity to bring us to tears, first of sorrow and regret, and then in the hand that wipes away the tears from our eyes, tears of absolute and utterly hilarity, almost to the point of madness, while leading us into sanity and the restoration and recovery of the very best of the best that makes us human and, both human and divine even in spite of ourselves in our own prior stupidity and ignorance.

It will come in many forms, this eschaton of mirthful awareness and understanding, but it's of a very playful, loving and charming disposition which delights in irony and paradigm-shifting thoughtforms and conceptions which can be expressed in language and transmitted at the speed of light to minds and hearts all over the globe.

Waiting for us, undiscovered, is an idea that by it's very nature is an idea whose time has come.

But it cannot be only my idea or your idea alone, uncommunicated, unannounced. And if we cannot share it, then of what use is it? That's like hiding your light under a bushel basket instead of placing it out on the lampstand so that all in the house may be given the light by which to see.


No doubt we're in strange times, both at the end and the beginning of history and on the very cusp of novelty.


Therefore, maybe it time for our tribe of sorts to regroup around the firelight and share what we know and have learned and to discuss what we do not know but very much need to know if we are to survive, or even retain our own sanity in the face of it all, only the very thinnest slice of which we remain hidden in, if only as a defense against the domain of all possible knowledge, outside the box.

What have you come up with in your own pursuit and quest regarding things that the rest of us might not have previously considered or if we did, were unaware of it's farthest reaching implications and significance because sometimes the sacred lives in the apparently mundane.

It could be about absolutely anything, life, ET life, reality.

What do you think you know that most other people if not the rest of us, do not know or might not have previously considered?

OMG that's right! The Galaxy is turning and our solar system is flying through it! They are not there where they say they are by visible light! If some day we were to travel in the cosmos it would have to be on the basis of what's there NOW, everywhere.

The concept that most of the media is owned by the CIA and that what people subject themselves to could be manufactured with intent. That people come to a conspiracy website and discuss politics, citing information that is fed to them in a controlled manner, thus controlling them. Knowing that the "philosopher's stone/elixir of life" is real and almost every human in existence will never know of it.

My weird idea is what if God is nothing more than a superpowered Cosmic Entity that is similar to the ones on Marvel. In other words a powerful inter dimensional being capable doing things no normal humans can do.

Okay, so here is mine, but it is more a growing suspicion than a concept yet.

The illuminati are dead humans, ascended masters of spirituality, intellect and emotions working towards the liberation of mankind from the hands of human hating purely consciousness beings like Moloch, Zeus or God, the control loop they installed in our perception devices.
Einstein, Edison, Buddha, Douglas Adams etc. are the ones controlling the world from the "shadows" the netherworld, however you want to call it and true enlightenment and unfathomable scientific, social etc break through will start to happen as soon as I figure out a way we can help them opening the portals.
(Not necessarily I, but I assume at present I am the only one working on it. )

My idea is that Space and Time is a canvas of infinite possibility. God is the first being who learned how to manipulate it and create with it.

The Idea that is so hidden from plain sight is of God, what this is and how it works. There is mass movement to keep this as obscure and thorn to pieces as it could be, and this is not the Church at all. The Catholics might be dogmatic fundamentalist, but they are very precise in some very neglected aspects: like Origin, Purpose, Connection. I prefer not to use their langulage of expressing this ideas, as it is outdated and confusing, yet the nowdays movements of spirituality are totally opposing the main idea they aim - wisdom. Spirituality today is pure hillarious soap opera.

So let me form all I said in single thesis sentence as the thread requires. It will sound like this:

"You are not God
You can't even touch God.
Go feed the birds."

When I flew to the US, as I looked out the window of the plane and it was so dark at 5am, my first though was "I will get to see the stars from a completely different perspective tonight."

Hello my similar stars, we meet again...

Well i'm not sure if my story belongs here but i post it anyways. I always had the feeling that i don't belong in this reality or to the earth for that matter. The feeling is hard to describe because it is just a weird vibe i get when something is off. My father died a few years ago. It was very sudden and he just dropped on the floor and fell into a coma for a few months but the second i got the first call from my mother i instinctively knew he was already gone. A lot of strange things happen to me all the time. There is no explanation,pattern or a reason for it. I just decided to roll with it.

I know the following sounds insane but f#ck it. A few years ago i had a weird experience that i can only describe as it was like hacking into someones mind. I somehow managed to hack the conciousness of another being. The really strange part is that i can't decribe what i saw through his/her/its eyes. I remember some things but there is a for a lack of a better word mental barrier that prevents me from disclosing anything specific about the experience. It felt weird to have a third but silent voice in my head. The experience lasted only a few minutes but it felt like an eternity. The unknown being became self aware of my presence and i had a sudden urge to end the contact as fast as possible.

I do get random premonitions from time to time and i still haven't figured out what to do with them. I close my eyes and images clear as day and in full detail pop into my head. No rhyme or reason behind it. I had a few instances where i saw whole videoclips in a pitch black environment inside my mind. I don't know how to describe this feeling but i managed to control some part of it. I can fast forward or rewind the clips/images for instance. It's like using photoshop within your mind. They are not dreams mind you. I figured that out pretty quick. I get weird vibes and Déjà-vu's all the time. I entertain the idea that i'm somehow able to tap into the mind of someone else who lives in a parallel dimension. Perhaps even myself. It's just really complicated being me i tell you that.

Through my own code i'm no longer able to lie. You can just ask me anything that's not related to my current whereabouts or my name. Everything else is fair game. There is no picture of myself anywhere on the internet btw.

I do believe there is something more to our world than meets the eye but please spare me the religious crap. If given the chance i would kill all gods in a heartbeat.

Right. If you had the ability to instantly zip out to a star that you're looking at, the damn thing would be anywhere in sight when you reached that position. It's exactly like that helical model you illustrated.
