From what I know, Parisians are about done with the brown problem.

I'd prefer it if you didn't say 'Brown' problem. I'm 'British Mixed Race' and Brown/Tanned skinned myself. I'd prefer you to say 'ME' people or use the word 'Muslim' or some other word but not 'Brown' people as that is pointing a finger at me too, just for being Brown/Tanned and every other Mixed Race or Tanned person with no association with the ME or Africa.

Thankyou very much.

The thread you started invites those who speak that way. They are pointing a finger at you, too.

At least the poster was actually honest about being racist and didn't hide behind some PC non-sense.

Let's face it. People are scared of the "brown problem."

When a white kid shoots up and murders innocent people, it's an isolated incident and he's called a lone wolf, but the "brown problem,"....

Lol.

Twilight zone. You have a problem with people pointing fingers at you because of your skin colour but you don't see anything wrong in pointing fingers at others based on their religious beliefs and origin ? Wtf

I think 'Snarl' needs to know when and how to phrase sentences/words because as he wrote it, it definitely reads as 'racist' condemning ALL those of Brown/Tanned skin.

I think I should start a thread on this Race/Colour issue people have. They are two very different things and people like myself are offended.

I also think when discussing a person/s from a certain area, that person should be called by their area or Religion, this way it's clearly defined who is who and who in particular is/are being talked about.

Yes, I knew someone would pick me up on it.

I am 'Prejudice', I admit it but I'm not 'racist', two different things again. I don't particularly like 'Religion' (especially those with Radical views and those that brainwash) but one in particular i don't like and I also don't want any more in England from that Religion. I know what they are trying to do without the need for Swords or guns. I don't want any more 'Mo's' in the Country. They are coming from all different parts of Africa and the ME and nearly 99% are men, I hardly ever see any women or children in these photos. Why are all the Men trying to get here? Even if I saw a load of women of Islamic Faith, I wouldn't want them here... not that many anyway.

I admit i am prejudice but at least I've spelled out what I mean and in particular those with radical views. I would also be posting this same thread if it were right-wing groups or Nazi's parked in calais or paris.

Some are.

Many have always been.

They operate from a position of pure ignorance.

On Topic:
I think retreading old news as current day amounts to "fake news" as far as I'm concerned - in this instance it's perhaps not the event that's fake - it's the fake assertion that the item is (still) NEWS. The topic is like Clickbait - not the OP, the topic the OP refers to. So, in my book, misrepresenting something as current that happened in the distant past qualifies as fake news.

Off Topic:
I liked the way you recovered your thread regarding the brown problem, don't let yourself get side tracked.
I had my own brown problem recently: floor destroyed by water closet clog lasting a week, still working on the smell.
Perhaps I made a poor choice of words seeking an "acceptable" and "succinct" description of the problem?

When liberals pointed out conservative fake news stories on the web, they backed it up with facts. A lot of these stories are created by business owners for clicks (money). I saw an interview with one CEO who makes fake news for a living, and he said that they tried liberal fake news but liberals did too much fact-checking.

At any rate, something isn't fake news if you don't agree with its message - it is fake news if the facts are fabricated. And that isn't something you just decide, it is a conclusion you make after investigating.

Well, someone's trying to make it sound as if these poor people are getting beaten and having their belongings stolen without proof of the incident. If this was a Court case it would be thrown out.

I said 'poor' people in this instance as I don't believe they are 'Refugee's' (most anyway)

Why don't we call them what they are; refugees.

They came from a homeland destroyed by war, with only what they could carry. The countries taking these people in, obviously didn't have the infrastructure in place to deal with the overwhelming numbers of individuals.
Should we be shocked that many are homeless, or carry around tents and sleeping bags?

Good gravy people. Where do you expect them to go? It is a problem. We are problem solvers. Let's fix this.
Either we find jobs and transitional housing for them in our countries, or we help make life liveable again in theirs.

I expect that the vast majority of refugees are good people, but scared and confused about what to do next. Then there are a very small percentage who are angry, and lash out. Those people are our headlines.

There is also no doubt in my mind that some Paris police have acted brutally. Just as there are bad/bigoted cops in the US and other countries.

They are fellow humans, not "others".

Then why has it always had 'other' on an application form when applying for a job?

I had to tick that box plenty of times as they had no Ethnicity band for 'British Mixed Race'.

Isn't France under a state of emergency order? If so, it would give military and police much more leeway in dealing with the swine. After everything that has happened it surprises me not that they would be rough with them. But, I can also agree with you that the left would be salivating to find any incursion and exaggerate the story.

I do not believe someone would be allowed to stay in the hospital for 20 days with a shoulder injury. It is socialized medicine right? They would be given a brace or sling and if there was serious damage be scheduled to come back for surgery. It just doesn't strike me as likely.

Exactly my point.

Also the part about a guy jumping off a roof because he wasn't right and wanted to go the UK but couldn't.

One 45-year-old man told researchers an officer kicked him so hard in the shoulder that he was admitted to hospital for the next 20 days for treatment

So .. free healthcare then.

No, Parisian police have history of misconduct and blatant racism (like the current "accident" of shoving a baton up someone's arse while giving him a beating), so I think this might just be true.

It would not shock me at least.

Do you have proof of this incident?

If so, do post the photo/s.

Yeah, sure, it is all over the news globally. The president has publicly apologised and have had a nice photo op with the guy in hospital (ultimately the police decided at the police station that the guy might need medical attention so he was taken to the hospital ... where he underwent major emergency surgery.)

From the Independent (chosen at random):

Police in France have claimed that an officer anally raped a 22-year-old black man with a truncheon by mistake.

In an initial investigation, they found “insufficient evidence” to support the man's claim that he was deliberately sodomised.

A lawyer for one of the officer's suggested his expandable baton slipped into the man's anus by accident.

Oh I can't WAIT to hear your excuse why that phrase isn't blatantly racist.

Having had a lot of online conversations with someone in France, yeah, this is BS! These "refugees" are trashing the streets, with filth everywhere, literally, makeshift tents, mattresses, etc, garbage, and are violent as a rule, not the exception. So, the police are likely trying to clear them out of areas they have no business staying. The media there is as biased as here, the person states, and tends to paint over problems the "refugees" cause, and make them out to be victims.

ok but some storys can be elaborated to further one's agenda. How did the pants come off? Also I though this incident was filmed with a mobile or cctv? Where's the video so we can then make our minds up? You think a PO would deliberately do this type of thing? In plain sight of other officers and other people who may have been watching? I'm not convinced by that link that the full story is revealed of that some fabication has been implemented.

There's a election coming up in France and Le Pen is on course to win.

Yeah, this type of reporting doesn't get mentioned in the media either, i totally agree as it's biased media wanting everyone to feel for these "refugee's" instead of asking what they are doing there in the first place.

The post is about the "refugee's" in Paris, not about the guy having a baton shoved up his butti hole (Not you but the other poster)
