That would entail being 'something'. If this is an Illusion there is no you me jack henry or sally. They simply don't exist but in the holomind.

This is a fascinating subject. I'm not sure the man with only 20% of his brain is the same one I heard about where all the actual brain matter had metled away and the % that was left was essentially the outer layer which was still held i place by his skull...

Though I have heard this discussed many times, it is not something I can wrap my mind around. This world and whatever I see and feel in relation to it is something very real to me.

Yes it feels real and is real in many ways. Our senses are attached to everything including physical and emotional pain. But it's a fun topic to explore.

The brain does not seem to be essential for life . I remember seeing a little girl with the same situation as the one in this vid and she was smiling and her eyes were looking around and seemed to be aware of her surroundings .

I think they have a response to their environment .Not sure it could be described as a conscience but it may . Animals seem to behave like they do .

There is a lot below the surface yes . Even a rock can be more then a rock if you break it down into its smaller parts .

My point might be this: Every living thing has a life force. So as humans.
Every living thing that Science can't fathom/explain has a life force. And that life-force is what's called "Soul or Spirit" in Metaphysics.

I believe Jesus has that "special" type of Spirit. He might have done OBE too.
