This is some great footage. South American governments have always seemed more open about the subject.

The Navy Captain stated that the object was a “flat, elongated structure” with “two thermal spotlights like discharges that did not coincide with the axel of motion.” The technician described it as as “white with a semi-oval shape on the horizontal axis.”

Interesting videos but I'm not sure I buy the story.

Is it normal for a country to find a UFO expelling unknown material and just go home because it went behind some clouds? Why not follow it and see where it lands?

Either way, interesting for sure. No idea what it could be. Secret propulsion system test? Chemical delivery system test?

I agree. The South Americans are more open about UFOs. There was another recent posting here on a similar object in N. America, i.e.: The craft emitted a contrail at points in its travel. This was on ATS just a few days ago. Given that I suspect this is a terrestrial craft of some sort. Unknown whether it is manned or a drone. However, I see no reason to leap to extra-terrestrial here.

Though with that vapor trail I'll call it a unidentified farting object.

My ultra skeptical mind is a little blown. Very interesting video. The ejection seems to heat up instead of cooling which is very strange by itself. The ejection looks exactly like a cloud at high temp when in hd mode. Im not sure the values they are using are correct for the temp, it seems reversed.

Ice crystals reflecting the sun and giving the impression of heat??

Despite how much I want them to be real and want to believe, it's hard to ignore the timing and which publication is breaking the story.

There is so much going on and so many damning news stories breaking that this feels like a psy-op to distract from real world events.

I know the Chilean government seems more transparent with their ufo investigations but it hardly ever makes major American MSM news.

That is by far the best supported UFO video I have ever seen! There are better stories but they don't have any video, never mind infrared! I feel that it would be hard to keep a story like this under wraps when you have military officials calling around gathering up all the weather and news reports from around an area. You know unless you have a bloated, run away military industrial complex run by psychopaths.

I feel like an object that didn't appear on anything but infrared cameras would be pretty hard to track for long. Especially from a gas guzzling helicopter.

Ya, I did watch the video.
To me however it seemed pretty undistinguishable from the clouds surrounding it. Not claiming any expertise, just an observation.


I look forward to hearing what the north american/european scientific community has to say about it though. hopefully not just "Oh that's nice".

I think silence will be more instructive than anything other than disclosure of what ever it actually is, by who ever actually knows what it is.

Maybe I am already being too eager, but I feel like a lack of comment that I can find by certain people already tells me/us what we need to know.

It looks to me like a FLIR recording of a commercial aircraft at altitude leaving an intermittent contrail.

Very interesting.

It also was not captured on traditional radar.

It's not an average contrail the aircraft is leaving... regardless if the aircraft did leave a visible contrail or not the exhaust coming from the aircraft would be nearly the same temperature throughout (just not condensing into a cloud). Part of the video is a FLIR recording which measures heat... whatever that trail might be it's hot... and it stops.. jet engines do not typically stop mid flight as far as I know.

That said.. I have no idea what the object is or what it's doing.

Good point, but in almost every case of an aircraft coming into contact with a UAP it always manages to keep its distance, or if anything some how gets too close zips off. Also note this footage was taken by a chopper.

To me it looks like a boat on a lake or body of water leaving wake. I dono..that was my first thought.

Yeah it certainly seems that keeping a constant speed the whole time is indicative of either a willingness to be filmed and followed, inability to not be filmed and followed, or ignorance of it being filmed and followed. The latter seems pretty unlikely to me, but the former are both a toss up.

My...Chile is really pushing for disclosure isn't it.


But it always bugs me when contradictions show up early on... like:

"The aircraft was flying at an altitude of approximately 4,500 feet on a clear afternoon with unlimited horizontal visibility, and the air temperature at that height was 50 degrees F (10 C). There was a cloud base above at 10,000 feet, and a layer of stratuscumulos clouds below. The helicopter was flying at about 132 knots, or 152 mph."

1. CLEAR AFTERNOON
2. Cloud base at 10K feet with a layer of stratus cumulus below that base.

WHICH ONE IS IT???
