A few people mentioned Gloucestershire way which is a bit more central so later in the year might be an option if any one is up for it.

There's few of us in and around Gloucestershire. I say we go camping in nature - Forest of Dean , very nice in there. U just need a tent.

Why not? I was at the one Gordi did on the Isle of Cumbrae 3 years ago.

Bit of a bummer that the OP has never got back to all the responses yet... I hope you are ok OP?

I would like to suggest to all of those that may be able to make it a venue for 2018... France...

We are slap banch in the middle of the Touraine (Val de Loire region) with tons of castles and dungeons to visit and only 40 minutes away from Tours (nearest major city) and 10 minutes away from Mick Jaggers joint in Amboise.

Google Chenonceaux...

I have a 10 person gite and we have camping ground (with bog and shower) all around our property which is also situated at a literal 10 second stagger from my sister in-laws wine cellar...

If anyone is interested I will create a thread.
