So why would Brennan say this if it wasn't true?

He must have had a good reason don't you think?

Well he said he voted for the CPU candidate on an election right?

Why would he do that?

The article has a last update of Sept 15th. As far as I know, that was not election night.

He said a past election right?

What was he thinking about?

He said his point in the speech was to show that having made such a vote will not disqualify you from a government job.

Where does this lead? That he planned to vote for Sanders? I am just grasping at straws.

You're asking loaded questions but to be square with you he could have said it for multiple reasons:

1. Part of a larger agenda at play that none of us are aware of it.

2. You could be absolutely correct with your assumptions.

3. An attempt of whitewashing of some sort.

4. He could have said it because he was forced by someone else to say it.

I simply don't know, I'm not the man so I don't know.

What I do know - I'm not expecting CNN to bring any more truth to the matter, at the very least I would expect them to purposefully muddy the matter and make a "news report," of a non-issue as a further distraction.

Just wondering... could this have been an excuse for an affirmitive hit on his lie detector test? All questions are subjective, and it is a great excuse, but it should be reason for pause.

He said it in September before the Black Caucus. I am thinking it was an anecdote, not anything nefarious.
