I don't know how this has not been posted yet, unless it's in a forum I can't see.
The Washington Post published a list of websites they claim are Russian propaganda sites and ATS made the list! This is a continuation of their "fake news" hogwash from last week and it looks like a big attempt at damage control to me. WaPo has credibility problem on a A. Jones scale, in my opinion.

www.propornot.com...

The link is dated as Nov. 9, but is ongoing. I think the list came out yesterday.

There have been some whoppers on this site, but I think its members have been fairly good at vetting the real and fake. Besides, this is user-generated content.

The WaPo is crossing lines that may affect this site's advertising revenue. They should be exposed as much as possible.

Yeah, that should tell us the rest of the article is BS. LOL we are an arm of the Russian propaganda machine. Also, the fact that someone noticed us is not necessarily a good thing imo.

This list is absolutely hysterical.

Just destroy your credibility even more, it really is most enjoyable to watch the demise of the MSM in real time.

Doesn't feel good to be accused of something that isn't true, does it? They have nothing but circumstantial evidence, and yet, how can we prove we are not - enough to satisfy them?

How is this related to the washington post? I'm not seeing that.

Please note that our criteria are behavioral. That means the characteristics of the propaganda outlets we identify are motivation-agnostic. For purposes of this definition it does not matter whether the sites listed here are being knowingly directed and paid by Russian intelligence officers, or whether they even knew they were echoing Russian propaganda at any particular point: If they meet these criteria, they are at the very least acting as bona-fide "useful idiots" of the Russian intelligence services, and are worthy of further scrutiny.

Maybe a Sorcha Fail article, or RT video or two has been posted here, and they use that as "criteria". Nonsense.

Propornot is a sham website, fake news. It is more propaganda than ATS will ever be.

I like how Russia is supposedly on the brink of total collapse yet apparently has the resources to convince half the western world of their "propaganda".

So hard to keep track of the lies.

While ats is not under Russian control some members sure are why else would they thank Russia when Trump won.
Plus the pushing of fake news pushed as true from some also.

Well there is a lot of BS on this site, but I don't think it's caused by Russia. We have enough ignorant crazies in the US to do it ourselves unfortunately.

This is just the beginning.
For four years there is going to be a concerted effort to discredit any source of information that does not conform to the narrative of those who are attempting to set a course for this country.
Their hope is that by the next election, they will have total control over all information.
They tried hard this time, but they missed a few things - and I think they are going to attempt to correct that.

How could they possibly think we here are controlled by Russia? We should not stand for this imperialist propaganda my comrades. The running dogs and capitalist lackeys will pay for their lies when Tovarich Vladimir hears of this.
