Which one, A-1 or mint? You can only pick one.

Salsa (mustard is a very close second).

But... I can't wait to hear why you are directing this question to women only. If you are trying to woo a woman with condiments, it's better just to ask what she wants. If you are trying to better understand the female mind through condiments, then I'd love to hear your analysis.

Salsa.

Italian and Ranch dressing both come in at a close second place, though.

Everything is better with salsa on it!

Eta: Oh dang, A1 Sauce is really good stuff, too...

Haha, that's a fair question. Indeed it is. www.sarayosauce.com... You could call it a spicy mayo.

Tomato sauce. But thats likely due to my Australian culture
can put that stuff on near everything. Pies, sausage rolls, hotdogs, vegetables and meats, eggs, with cheese on a sandwich....

I have no idea what Catsup, Ranch or Sarayo are.... must be American condiments that are not known to people in other countries.

For me it's mustard, I love mustard with pork, beef and even with my chips.

Second close are green pesto and mayonnaise (home made with olive oil preferably).

I don't like ketchup.

So here's what I have so far...

Catsup - 4
Ranch - 2
Mayo - 2
Sarayo - 1
A-1 - 1
Miracle whip - 1
Red Hot - 1
Salsa - 3
Mustard - 1

Interesting. This is not turning out how I thought it would at all.

Catsup = ketchup (just different spelling)

Ranch = Ranch salad dressing (used as a dipping sauce), it is primarily mayo with buttermilk onion and spices.

Sarayo = I had never heard of it either until today.

a reply to: Martin75

I've seen people put mayo on everything..

Hot dogs, meatball subs, salads. Just some people I guess.

Ok, I will add soy sauce to the next update.

Bhudda, it's not a big secret, I just thought I would see a different trend. A number of gals I know love mustard on virtually anything. I wondered if this was actually a trend. Most guys I know will put catsup on anything...so I wondered if there was a trend with ladies liking mustard. However, it seems like catsup and salsa are leading.

Hmmm, gotta be mustard looking at my fridge.

I have a cooking mustard, a whole grain Dijon, a traditional Dijon, a sandwich mustard, Jack Daniel's mustard, and French's standard yellow. I was researching how to actually make my own mustards on the internet the other day. And all of this is solely for me although my 6-year-old does like mustard too.

My husband dislikes it except when it's in cooking or salad dressings.

No other condiment is that important or has that many varieties. Hot sauce would be the next most important.

Why is this a ladies only survey then? You could have tackled your catsup theory at the same time and had a comparative set of results!

Note to self: make more 'ladies only' threads for ...scientific purposes
