Why is George Soros so hated by the Right?

We're hearing a lot of whining lately about George Soros because he apparently was a supporter of the Clinton campaign, and of course Republicans think Hillary is evil. So I decided to do some research into Soros to determine if he really is as bad as everyone here (Allrepublican Talk and Suppresion forum) claim he is.

Soros was an investment fund manager for many years which is where he earned his money. He made a billion dollars betting against the British pound which could explain something about why the conservative, business-loving right wing hates him.

It could be because he donates to liberal organizations and candidates, but apparently he doesn't donate as much as many other groups or individuals, meaning that his influence on elections is highly exaggerated.

Basically, his reputation as the devil among conservatives seems to be an exaggeration. It may have something to do with the fact that he advocates for immigrants and other disenfranchised groups in the US which is against the conservative agenda. It was noted in this article that he apparently has never done anything illegal.

I have been unable to find any legitimate evidence of Soros being as terrible as Conservatives claim him to be. There are tons of websites by questionable individuals and organizations claiming that he's evil, but nothing even close to legitimate or trustworty that I can find.

He's not conservative or the Devil.

He maybe sold his soul, which I really believe he has, but he supports socialism or at least his version, all the way to his bank accounts.

He's a loveable teddybear with good intentions.

Depends on your politics. He's an old rich liberal with a lot of money to fund things he believes in. That's scary to people that don't believe the same as he does.

The man was a significant factor behind the fascist coup in Ukraine, and has personally gone out of his way to buy up Eastern European states following the fall of the Warsaw Pact, presumably this had no small part in their joining NATO

He totally destroyed the economies of Thailand and Malaysia in 1997 through currency manipulation.

I hear he also had a not insignificant hand in the disintegration of Yugoslavia.

He described the world financial crisis as the culmination of his life's work.

He advances his agenda of globalism in the West through any means necessary, from paid protests to inciting riots.

This guy is total trash. He is an enemy of every person living today.

Obama wasnt the devil but a moron who thought he could do anything he wanted with and executive order and bypassing congress.

Hillary is corrupt lying pos that got 4 americans killed in benghazi and her irresponsible handling of classified material that should have got her charged and locked up but we have some officials who need to be fired and the whole country knows it. The liberal left is being PAID by these corporations and most of everyone here on ATS can attest to that.
