The Yemeni Army’s Rocket Battalion launched three or four new ballistic missiles at their Saudi oppressors yesterday which they claimed hit their targets at the military base outside Khamis Mushayt, and is what regional press are reporting. However, the Saudis claim to have intercepted four targets. The Yemen video release of the new Qaher-M2 medium-ranged BM only shows three launches. Perhaps it was only three, but the Saudis launched six just to be safe.

Qaher-M2 BM launch from Yemen.

Patriot ABM interception from Saudi Arabia and a local news report on it showing one of the downed missiles.

And the global war continues...

I have not updated too much because this is not a Syria war thread. I am looking to add mostly global strikes. So here is the MOAB that was dropped on caves and tunnels in Afghanistan April 2017 to destroy an ISIS cell there.

We also now have reports of US troops deployed to the ground in Somalia. Special forces have been operating there for at least a decade on and off, but this is the first official deployment in 24 years.

US sending dozens more troops to Somalia
Washington (CNN)The US is sending "dozens" of additional troops to Somalia to train and equip the Somali National Army and the forces participating in the African Union Mission in Somalia there.
A US military official told CNN that the new contingent would consist of about 40 soldiers.
In an email to CNN, Charles Chuck Prichard, a spokesperson for US Africa Command, confirmed the deployment Friday, saying that the deployment of "a few dozen troops from the 101st Airborne Division" came "at the request and in close coordination with" the government of Somalia.
The US troops will join the small number of US special operations forces already there providing counterterrorism support to local forces battling the local al Qaeda affiliate, al Shabaab. That advisory mission has been underway for several years.
The US military official added that there are approximately 50 counterterrorism advisers already in Somalia as part of the ongoing mission.

A recent background on modern American military ops in Somalia.

Well yesterday in North Korea, they held a life fire demonstration off the East coast as a demonstration of capabilities. It is their right obviously, but this somewhat ups the ante of sabre rattling. But as we can see, they would have no issues laying waste to Seoul in a matter of moments when provoked.

Holy smokes, this is the very first case of two for one I have ever seen on the internet. the Wrath of Yemen strikes again!

SANA’A, YEMEN (3:55 P.M.) – Yemeni ‘Ansar Allah’ movement, more known as Houthis – by the name of their founder, Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi – published a video footage taken in Najran region of Saudi Arabia near the Yemeni border.

The video shows Houthi sniper taking out two pro-Saudi fighters with a single shot:

Saudi militants and soldiers just cannot compete on the ground against these warriors. They have ambushed and overrun so many forward operating bases and successfully attacked military targets within the Saudi border. And yet all they can do in return is blow up civilian neighborhoods and infrastructure.
At least the Patriot missile systems are able to knock out the ballistic missiles fired at them from Yemen, that much I will give them credit for.

United States Africa Command
On May 4, one U.S. service member was killed during an operation against al-Shabaab in Somalia, approximately 40 miles west of Mogadishu.

U.S. forces were conducting an advise and assist mission alongside members of the Somali National Army.

Rest in Peace, fallen warrior. Your sacrifice is not in vein.

This is a skirmish between Hezbollah fighters in Iraq, and what I assume is ISIS as they are the only ones to fight against in Iraq. Looks like maybe somewhere along the Euphrates river banks judging by the lush landscape, which would indicate a wetter topography??

Another missile test by North Korea, this time with a possible re-entry capsule?? No good, so not good. We need to pre-empt and eliminate their capabilities now before it is too late!

The Indian army claims to have initiated an attack on Pakistani bunkers they claim have been infiltrated by terrorists across the line of control. They only provided this strangely edited video of the attack, nut not much else to corroborate their claims.

translation by google
The army claimed Tuesday (May 23) that many check posts of Pakistan Army, which were in line with the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, were destroyed in the recent action under the anti-terrorism strategy to prevent attacks from across the border. Maj Gen Ashok Nuru told reporters, "The Pakistani army assists armed armed intruders. In recent action in Naushera (Rajouri district border sector), we have destroyed many posts of Pakistani army."
When asked how these attacks were executed, Narula said that this is a 'recent, very recent' campaign. They did not provide detailed information, but shared a video clip, in which bomb blows in a forest area and smoke was seen rising.
ADGPI Major Jarnal Ashok Narula of the Indian Army said that such a move would continue even to stop the terrorists. The Indian Army, while releasing the video of the destruction of Pakistani Army Post adjacent to the Naushera sector, said that the posts that were destroyed were infiltrated.

Major General Narula said, "Action taken in areas adjacent to the Line of Control is part of our anti-terrorism strategy, so that the number of terrorists (in the state) can be reduced and the Kashmiri youth should not go wrong." He said that the Indian Army is aware that the intrusion attempt will increase with the melting of ice. He said, "Indian Army is actively engaged in the LoC, we want peace in Jammu and Kashmir."

I really have to spend a good solid day and update this thread with the videos from all the action we have seen for the past couple years. That is if they don't just get sanitized from the web like everything else I used to post.

Man, so much lost history these deleted videos represent. I may as well have documented nothing. Makes me kind of depressed a bit.
