I wear my hair long in a bun.

Your man card has been revoked.

You say that I am not a man because I'd rather support the ancient culture of my ancestors rather than conform to European/Western standards of "appropriate hair"?

Me, as well as my forefathers, have worn hair buns long before this modern hipster craze.

You apologize for offending, but go further about stupid people and stupid things. Thanks for degrading the true and original cultural hairstyle of Southeast Asia and India.

What's next? Are you going to start rallying at Buddhist Temples just to laugh at the hair of Shakyamuni?

Holy #. Are you #ing serious? did you somehow find a way to not only have a bowl of cheerios that somebody pissed in, but consumed the entire bowl?

First off, it's a rant, second, it's more of a joke. If it makes you feel any better, when I see the Pictures of Old England parliament wearing Whigs and makeup, I think it looks silly. I am not sure why, perhaps I was dropped a few times as a child. Perhaps I didn't get enough love. Perhaps my years in a Turkish Prison hardened my thinking. But whatever the case, I think if you have a problem with me having a laugh at something I see as silly, you might want to do a bit of introspective viewing. Or you may find everyone piling on your opinions they don't like. It would suck if this place degraded into a place like that.

Not right away. Luckily for you I didn't listen to my mommy when she told me not to play with my food.

I have to ask. Why the whisk? Wouldn't an electric mixer be better?

I abhore fashion for what it implies to me...and that is a need for attention, a lack of security in oneself and a dependence on externals to fortify ones sense of self.

But hey, if you ask my wife Im wrong about everything

well, you are a man, so there is that.

In jest or not,.... I would not expect a fellow craftsman to degrade an entire culture, especially where people have chimed in about culture after the fact. Freemasonry is all about culture and traditions, and that is easy for you to swallow, but not respecting the culture of others?

Degrading culture is ok,... but the ridiculed should practice introspection? The attacker and the offended,..... you say the offended should practice introspection while ignoring the attack.

Introspection is key for all on the path.

I think the people Dude is referring to (hipsters) are not doing it for cultural reasons, they are doing it to be trendy.

Ahh the mullet. Business in the front and a party in the back. Billy Ray would be proud.
