Know the difference between wasps/hornets and honeybees.

Wasps do not polinate and they kill bees.

I do my part by raging on wasps.

Wasps are not on my no kill list. Haven't been, don't much care for wasps at all.

Not entirely true. We wouldn't have figs wthout fig wasps.
The bees seem to be doing fine in Texas. My brothers hives are thriving. Lots of mead brewing.

So true. Inside every delicious fig is a dead wasp.

It's Glyphosate that is killing the bees and no one can stop it because Monsanto.

Glyphosate is a herbicide.

Farmers do use insecticides though.

Intended use doesn't mean it doesn't kill bees.

So, insecticides are not the culprit. It's a herbicide.
Makes sense.

Do you really think Herbicides can't be toxic?

Just wow.

Shut up, shut up, shut up. I've been convincing myself otherwise for years, Aug, don't ruin my delusion.

Greenpeace has an campaign about saving the bees on Facebook, I signed petition, what more can I do?

PS: A Belgium Nobel Prize winner said "when bees die, mankind will die within 4 years" long before Einstein, maybe Einstein quoted him verbally or in a newspaper or so.

There are plenty of bees in my area, but it has many wildflowers and natural areas rather than farms. All kinds of wild bees in addition to numerous honey bees. The problem with domestic European honey bees is how they are treated, like taking all their honey before winter and giving them corn syrup to winter over on, not to mention forcing them to live on mono culture crops. If anything, butterflies like the Monarch are in worse shape around here at any rate.

Sorry.

However, if you feel brave, you can always check out the USDA Defect Handbook which gives you the acceptable level of insect parts permitted in all your food.

Ketchup is the worst. You will never spread that substance on a burger again.

Good thing I hate ketchup
Mayo only on my burgers (which may gross people out) & dipping of fries, or nada.

The recently approved 'zika fight' will wipe out honeybees.

Take that to the bank.

bees are awesome and if people have the land then please start to keep bees, gives yo ua decent honey. Technology has changed now to make it safer for bees and humans to collect honey without disturnign them.

this is the way forward for anyone who is able to keep bees that dont keep bees.
www.youtube.com...

if you can get one of these would it change peoples minds to keep beeS?

Honey bees are my favorite insect. I have taught my kids to always be mindful of not disrupting them unless absolutely necessary (which it seldom is).

As an interesting aside, the whole "baking soda and water paste" really does work wonders for a bee sting.
