Has anyone met their significant other on ATS?

Was curious if anyone here in ATS has met their significant other here?

Being single for a while now, I often ponder , if with so many topics and discussions on Ats , if anyone has actually fallen for someone on ATS?

Off the wall but I find it so interesting because people here can connect w each other at such deep levels....

Please -I have a lovely daughter-she's a nerd- and a lurker here. She's even had romances with nerds as a lurker.
By God, I want some grandchildren.

I don't think there's any one who even lives close to me and I'm not sure if I'd date them any way. I'd need to see a picture, then if they weren't attractive to me [ or me to them ] it'd be kinda awkward. I mean, what do you say "Sorry, you're too ugly" ?
But, I've been divorced for over 18 months, haven't been on more than a coffee and conversation date so far, so who knows.

No but it has lead me to travel to places I wouldnt normaly go which has resulted in me being with a American chick.

Not a love interest but I have certainly me a whole lot of great people.
Some, that I am friends with outside of ATS, I have connected with on such a deep level with that it is still strange in a way. I love talking to them and can't imagine them not being in my life now.

I don't look at meeting people on line much differently than meeting them offline.
If you meet someone that you like and want to meet in person and perhaps pursue a romantic relationship I think you just need to use the same common sense that you would any other time.

I like the stories of folks who have meet here though as I think the membership lends to folks thinking along the same lines generally. Obviously not always agreeing but a lot of similar ways of thinking.

I wouldn't exactly call it "significant" but I met a lady mod in Evangelos Bar in Santa Fe a few years back that was a pleasant chance encounter.
