BLM has no leadership to stop their violent narrative. Instead of denouncing violence they silently ignore the people in their movement inciting violence

So yes it is the fault of the movement.

Where debate with words has been replaced with bullets.

That isn't good for anyone.

Then how long will be it ok to shoot politicians.

Which is why there needs to be be serious debate within government about the underlying issues rather than pressing of agendas.

I dont watch TV (haven't had cable in over 10 years). But back in GWB's day I used to be as staunch an anti-Fox critic as anybody else.

How about you show us where in the official BLM site they've made a huge public announcement where they're denoucning this kind of action?

Could it be people behind this new attack had relations to the group police busted in Baton Rouge this week? Thought a plotted shooting was avoided but seems not. Sad for the lost lives again.

How did this happen...? that is, were the officers all in one spot/group to be ambushed like this ? I suppose news will be forthcoming in that regard.





Ok I gleaned this:
The officers in Baton Rouge were responding to a call of shots fired when they were ambushed by at least one gunman, Mayor Kip Holden told NBC News. A gunman was shot but his condition was not clear, a Louisiana State Police official told NBC.

Apparently they would be in a localized area, easier targets.... This so sucks...

eye witness: police were responding to gunshots between 2 suspects. shot exchanged prior to police arrival.

The twitter feed is from millions of members i guess, like i said to another poster, repeating something over and over again does not make it true, the proof is your repeating what fox news says.

I'm not saying all of them wanna kill cops but obviously some of them are perfectly fine killing them. I'm sure the mystical leader of the BLM movement will make a speech to stop the violence.

The movement hasn't done anything to stop violence just let the fire grow and the result is ambushes on police

The underlying issues is cops killing idiot multiple felons and then the community being outraged that their "angel" didn't do a thing. A shooting or 2 may be questionable (we do not know yet), but the initial rage was over justified shoots. If one goes by actual statistics, the police are not the problem, other than maybe a tiny sliver of it.

Doesn't matter if those shot were felons.

EVERYONE is entitled to a fair trial.

You can have a fair trial if your dead.

Now I get the police sometime have to use lethal force. But lethal force should be a very very very last resort and used only when lives are in danger.

Umm really??? You get a fair trial once you are arrested. If you decide not to be arrested, and put an officers life in jeopardy, then you are going to take a dirt nap, a deserved one.

Confirmation is in that a gunman has been shot.

No confirmation one way or the other. LE got a call to respond to the area and when they arrived, a gun fight broke out pretty much immediately. At least two agencies were in on the initial call and officers from both agencies were down.
