No, for starters the first one is not one continuous shot.

As though that changes what your seeing...do understand this thread wasn't about the camera used, where it was shot from, or how authentic the shot was...it's about how beautiful the Earth looked in the videos.

I am sure that you want people to focus on the beauty but that is not what I am looking at.

SO you know what my intentions were for a thread that I started... really?

If you look at my post to Bedlam you would see I thought about making this into a different thread, but I didn't want to waste the beauty of them on a silly subject...because you are referring to those who believe the Earth is flat, correct?

Amazing how some just can't be happy with seeing videos that show the beauty of the Earth from above.

As those are the only ones concerned with a video showing a curved horizon in a shot from the ISS.

Just speculating on my part.

If your so bothered with this video I know who can answer your questions...NASA.

SO what is the problem you have because I believe your tip toeing around your agenda, as only one conspiracy would be so concerned about the video and the fact it shows something they don't like to see.

I don't understand what you are getting at here. I watched both videos, both look like videos of earth from iss Always look, only in stunningly gorgeous HD!!

I for one was awed by its shear size and beauty.

There are quite some scenarios I can think of that would make me question such vids. It is besides the point. You posted some NASA vids, I see a problem with one of them. I am asking for more information.

Looking at the second vid, does it seem to you like they are zooming in or is the ISS moving closer to the Earth, even though it is in a steady orbit?

Probably from this porthole. It is oriented on the side of the ISS facing Earth.

I believe it has something to do with the curvature of the Earth, as that is really the biggest thing you see in the videos...but that is just a guess on my part.

I have been known to be wrong.

I live in Santa Monica. Just saw the ISS the other night and it was moving fast. Here is a link to see if it's in your part of the world. Again, great thread!

I have mentioned all the pieces of info that I require. If you can't figure it out based on that then you are going to have to be patient.
