I don't think these are the ones parents and kids are worried about. If they still have a penis, some might be concerned. Most are concerned, I think, about those that have not transitioned but self-identify as female or those who are not yet sure of their sexual gender and might identify as female one day and male the next. Also, the push to just put males and females together is being talked about, and that issue is not one to be decided by law makers and a handful of politicians. That should be decided by society and what they want to be taboo.

the ironic thing is that my youngest brother is gay, I remember him telling me how the other dudes used to # with him in high school cause of it, he turned out to be a bad mofo after a couple of incidents but my little sis man shes wild. Strong as hell too hope she gets an athletic scholarship for dance/cheerleading/gymnastics she pretty good. You do know something like this never actually happened in the Soviet Union right?

They legally gave equal rights to women, and that was about it. The societal culture dictated social norms, not some tiny yet extremely vocal, very observable and sometimes violent minority group trying to push some insane ideology on people. These did change over time but not at the direction of the State. Quite remarkable really. Although in the early 80s there was a push to get more women in the Armed Forces, but it wasn't particularly successful as Soviet women didn't particularly want to serve in the Military.

No, what is happening in the West now is much more sinister than any social programme during the Soviet days. This is a much more refined version of totalitarianism, with tools of monitor and control that the likes of the Stasi and KGB could only dream about.

Imagine if Facebook existed in the Former East Germany. The Stasi would absolutely love it.
