Nope, regular on/off switch.

Sorry for the delay. Then what type of bulb, incandescent, fluorescent, two way? Is it plugged straight into an outlet or a power strip, is the outlet full ov other devices?

Try another lamp in the same socket, try resetting the breaker, replacing it, reading the bible in another part of the house…

Did it happen again last night?

why does my light flicker while reading the bible?

One of the first rules in solving an equation is in removing any and all irrelevant and distracting variables.
In this case that irrelevant variable is; "while reading the bible"!
Removing it does not change the equation in any way, so what we are left with is; "why does my light flicker"?
And for that equation to be solved, we need additional information.

Dontcha remember your math class; If the train is going at three miles an hour, and the conductor's name is Steven, how far will it have gone in two hours?
You can dump the irrelevant distraction of 'Steven'! *__-

But it's not a distracting variable if what the OP says is true. The light never flickers ... except when he's reading the Bible.

Seriously?
Anecdotes should be taken seriously because someone says it's true?
What if he's delusional?
Has eye trouble?
Is a religious belief-addled psychopath?
A liar?

Shall we set up a simple classic scientific experiment to determine whether the 'bible reading' is a necessary variable or not?
I imagine that I can predict the results, but, I'm always willing to do the experiment!
I have been incorrecct before, once... *__-

Oh, we're quite full of ourselves aren't we?

Hubris is a concept you may wish to familiarize yourself with.

Anyway ...

You're not going to the OP's house. And neither am I. So we can choose to accept his information. And work from there. Or not accept his information. And carry on with our lives.

Since your name I have to response with the obvious, lights off.

It may be spirit that correspondes with your thoughts when you read and think what you just absorbed.

Put it to test, peace

A loose fitting ?
Perhaps just a loose enough connection to pick up on the tremors of fear you may not be aware of
, due to shock and awe. Especially if you are delving into ... the "old" testament !

And ... wear rubber soled shoes ...

So far you have not said anything of any philosophical value in your ad-hominem attack.
Whether I am the biggest ego on the block or not is irrelevant to what I wrote.
(I never claimed not to be the biggest ego on the block, so I have nothing to defend from your attack.)
Care to stay on topic? *__-

You're not going to the OP's house. And neither am I. So we can choose to accept his information. And work from there. Or not accept his information. And carry on with our lives.

There is evidence that there is at least one of us with the capacity to evaluate information without some belief infection inhibiting our ability to think for ourselves.
What I asked is ALL reasonable and logical IF you knew anything of science or philosophy.

Hahah.
I figured it out. The light stopped flickering apparently and it's normal. I was going to change it but the bulbs we have are too big.

You're right, it's all in my head and so are you.

I'm still continuing reading the Bible and it's been more than a week. The bulb apparently fixed itself!
I'm not lying as I see no profit in lies.
It just stopped working on its own and now it's normal.

And still the same light bulb that flickered.

Idk what kind it is, it's smaller than the normal light bulbs, I'm guessing Florence? Idk, but the break is normal, no overloads anywhere.
The AC does lag to start but the light bulb would've been over a long time ago.

Maybe it's something supernatural and logic won't explain it.. Heck my first paranormal "ghost" or ",poltergeist" account

Then it wasn't the bulb, more likely an anomaly on the wider power grid.

Reading the bible is a good thing. Just wondering, what part were you reading when it flickered?

Or better yet, if the sun does go out , how will you see the video? You'll be dead

Probably because there's an RFID tracking chip in your bible.

6 miles

Why the number 6? Are you Satanic mathematician?
Kidding,
Yeah I tried all logic training for this equation but ended up with today 4/12/16 the same light bulb that still works.
I guess it only happened to the type of book I read from the bible, as I kept going along, the flickering slowed and until completely stopped.

Well, thats one thing you should pay more attention to. If you're looking for signs and all. Remember, that book also says its a wicked generation looking for signs.

Other than that though, a one time event doesn't denote anything at all. "Paranormal" events, or whatever we choose to call them, are a sum total of experiences, each of which alone might not mean anything by itself but all added up give us pause to conclude that something 'more' is occurring.

When that happens you will know it.

Me too, I quickly ruled out the obvious of a loose bulb or overloaded breaks or whatever. Nothing. It completely stopped on its own after reading some more of the bible.

Oh I got jokes from most members. It's fine they know they're not crazy when logging in to a conspiracy site.

The Annunaki made the book which is why they have to use alien technology to make their book's statements come true.

Fukushima is a perfect example of the scalar weaponry they have.

There are so many contradictions because the God Presence beyond the Universe is always screwing their sick game up.

If the sun goes out it will just very cold. Air will still exist before all plants wither and die.

The signs are slapping me like a hung porn star slapping his schlong to his co-workers face.

I've realized I was awaked a long time ago and now am remembering slowly who I was (if that is who I was)
After this occurance, I felt like I feel into another dimension. Of course I know the difference between hallucinations and real. But this feeling lingers on.

I've had two weird dreams in which felt sureal, after waking up I couldn't tell if I was awake or still dreaming!
I might post it on the dreams and prediction fourms.

Okay, whatever… you only mentioned one event of flickering lights.
