It's my birthday night,thought I would say hello

Hey everyone, it's my birthday and I wish I could tell you that 28 feels so much older or that I have some words of wisdom to distrubute among my friends & family, well that is not the case. What I can say is, I have had many ups and almost surely many more downs, but that life is worth seeing it through if not for the few moments of pure joy. I saw my family today and I was fairly miserable,(having recently lost my wife and daily life with my children) all they (mother, father ,grandmother and sister whom I am greatful for) wanted to do was take as many pictures as possible as if every moment was picture worthy, I felt it as a fake veneer of happiness however I smiled regardless. I am drinking gentleman jack tonight, I hope all you are doing well thanks for being my extended family whom often I feel closer to cheers

28 is a great age to be, still idealistic and not so much that you think the world will all hold hands in happiness. Young enough to go clubbing without looking like you're there to pick your kids up lol. And man, you've still got the choice to have haircuts! And wear ridiculous new fashions!

I got dumped the day before Valentine's day. It was my fault, it hurt, I love her.

Hanging out with the family later today is going to be hard, but worth it. I HATE birthdays but realize it's not just about me, it's another excuse to get the family together. So when I've got some rugrat jumping on my testicles, I'll fondly think of you. If you give me your name I'll try to pull off a happy birthday for you from my weird family.
