All I hear about is Hillary... There aren't many people like you that look at everything a candidate has to offer, and I do commend you for that. I'll read into Bernie, but I'm willing to bet he's not my cup of tea. I'm not very fond of someone that thinks AGW is our number one threat. That alone tells me that his heart isn't in the right spot. Plus, like Enoch has mentioned a few times, Bernie made the statement that AGW is the blame for the surge and creation of ISIS.

I don't believe it. I think he's wrong. How is Bernie going to make my middle class life better?

Isn't it funny that Trump is the only one that is talking about bringing our manufacturing base back to this country.

I seem to recall saying I would ignore you. Oh well, one more post then.

"Putting words in your mouth" would require me quoting you, or talking as if from your perspective in any shape or form. I merely used you to iterate a point, under assumption. While you may not hate Sanders, your words certainly make it appear as such to me, or at the very least they are quite charged with negative emotions. Your actual opinion does not matter in this case, you could love him with everything in your heart for all I know. You were just an example that was conveniently available.

Any Presidential candidate that wants to flood our country with illegals should automatically disqualified from running for office. We all know that the only reason the Kenyan Communist is doing that is to rig the elections in Democrats favor.

This... People come here legally, and they get the t-total crap vetted out of them before they come to our country. This is our country, not theirs to come in illegally and trash it, or come in with hatred and blow up innocents. We have enough inside America as it is.

Who is going to make us safe??? I don't see anyone wanting to make us safe from such atrocities besides Trump.

It's not in your best interest to use me in your examples and I would appreciate you keeping me out of them.

As long as you genuinely attempt to understand his platform and policies, I am happy. If you disagree with them at that point, it is your own choice to make. I'd advise caution though, there's a lot of disinformation out there. Quite clear with the way Hillary tends to be portrayed.

I think the best way of explaining it is that while strictly speaking ISIS may be the more direct current threat, its danger is short-term compared to Climate Change. If you believe it's all just a lie... Well, I'm sad, but I doubt I'd be able to shift your opinion. If you do consider it real, the long term impacts if it isn't addressed as soon as possible will be absolutely catastrophic. ISIS would need to obtain access to nuclear weapons (god forbid) to be able to wreak even close to equivalent damage.
You really need to deal with both of them at once. Or we do, I guess, since it's the entire world's problem at this point.

It sort of is, though indirectly, and I admit it's a fairly tenuous position. The more direct cause was probably the CIA or something. Who knows what they're getting up to nowadays.

A small agreement, but not exactly a high bar. Literally anyone is better than Hillary. I don't what it is, but there is something seriously wrong with her. I would put Dubya in for another sixteen years in her place. I'm not sure if this is even the sort of thing I should say, but I would have to weigh in on possibly replacing her with Hitler. That's the level of bad vibes I'm getting. It's ridiculous. Sickening.

Age might be a consideration, but should you really pass up a chance at one of the potentially best presidents the US has ever had, because they might die of old age during that presidency? I'd be more worried about sniper bullets than old age, for Bernie's sake, anyway.
He seems quite healthy, it's not like he's wheezing on a deathbed. Admittedly, President is a massively stressful job so that could change (look at Obama, though I'm sure everyone's attitude towards him wouldn't help), but I think Bernie has the gumption for it.

Depends on who his vice pres is lol. At least you get bad vices on the hill... That's another thing I thought of but didn't want to mention because I was starting to sound like I was making excuses. But yes, stress would be really tough on him. Obama turned gray headed pretty quick.

But, NFL players are paid equivalently, and the NFL itself is a "nonprofit" organization?

The NFL is a tax free entity.

I think I've heard some people saying they'd like to see Elizabeth Warren as his vice president, though I don't know anything about her. Personally, I think Jesse Ventura would be excellent. He's extremely devoted to the constitution and bill of rights and is also a bit more conservative.

If you're worried about sounding like you're making excuses, that automatically sets you at a higher level of awareness than most people tend to be with these issues. Stress is really tough on all presidents, unfortunately. However, I feel like Bernie would have the support of the people, unlike Obama who seems to be almost universally hated, or at least disliked.

I have to bow out now - you guys are getting so far off in the distance that I can't hear your irrelevancies anymore.

SOURCES. Provide SOURCES. Both you and LSU - show us where Bernie said these things......
until you do - you are dismissed.

ETA:

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Sunday reiterated his claim that climate change will lead to terrorism by destabilizing regions affected by droughts, floods, and other natural disasters.

“The reason is pretty obvious: If we are going to see an increase in drought and flood and extreme weather disturbances as a result of climate change, what that means is that peoples all over the world are going to be fighting over limited natural resources,” Sanders said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
“If there is not enough water, if there is not enough land to grow your crops, then you’re going to see migrants of people fighting over land that will sustain them, and that will lead to international conflict,” he added.
Ah. Well done.
Yes - if people are starving or drowning or being killed in severe storms, they are going to be upset.
Due to limited natural resources, only the 'wealthy' will have access to things like 'water', 'food', etc......if we keep going.

Fine. I see nothing objectionable, false, or misleading about that. Do you?

What would you do if your water was shut off, your grocer's shut down, your house was sinking......
and you had no tools or ideas about how to hunt, fish, etc - and even if you did, there's nowhere to go hunt and fish and collect water?

What would you do?

Oh - right. Assault weapons. Yeah. Smart.

My source was the NY Times transcript of the entire debate.

www.nytimes.com...

If everything shut down, I'd do like I've always done, besides get up for work every morning. Instead, I'd get up and go towards the back of my property and either catch fish out of one of my ponds of shoot a hog or deer for meat. My parents live 5 houses down (roughly a mile) and they have spring and fall gardens so I'd have vegetables too. I'd be set if we went to snapfooey. To be honest, I hope the power grid goes down. The chances of that are more possible than global warming anyways.

Why would anyone be nervous? I am pretty sure the majority of Americans are not ignorant twits.

The lead does say something though about that party and it's constituents, fear and hate propaganda works well on them.

I personally don't believe JFK was killed because he was hated. Not by Oswald at least, but that might be too tinfoil for you.

I wouldn't be so sure though, I mean, look at Enoch. If you assume he's maybe in the top 10% of people who hate Bernie, how do you think the top 1% would act?

Nothing wrong with Enoch... If obama hasn't been whacked yet, Bernie won't be.

It's not too tinfoil for me, I'd LOVE to hear a conspiracy theory on that, seriously. You can shoot me a link in my inbox if you'd like, or even start a thread and link me to it. I'm about to get off here for tonight though.

The difference between Obama and Bernie is that Obama is still a corporate/special interests puppet. Fair point though, making an example of Enoch was probably a bit unfair.

I'm not aware of anything groundbreaking. I just personally don't think Oswald was responsible for Kennedy's death, at the very least I don't think he's acting alone. Most of my JFK knowledge comes from Ventura, anyway, who isn't exactly the most unbiased source out there. (Though he's one of the people who were initially skeptical, but later became convinced.)

Eek, LA? If we ever go snapfooey, you can head east about 1500 miles or so to northwest Louisiana. You'll strive out here in this little town

Thanks friend, but my position is here on the front lines of the culture war. It's good to know I have a fallback position though.

Oh I'm pretty sure his appeal will continue until the GOP nominee is decided. Then when we get to the general election you'll see his "support" evaporate (if he is even nominated, I'm banking that he is going to run 3rd party and screw everything up for the GOP).

He doesn't stand a chance against a Democrat. It's just the truth.

LOL

Sanders is a joke, and killary has more bodies buried behind her than all the others combined.

Neither has a chance, even the dems dont like Killary Rotten Cuttin.

You are delusional.

The numbers and polls say otherwise. I'm going to side with data before I side with some angry conservative on a conspiracy theory forum, but hey if that is delusional, so be it.
