border patrol agents have detained 6 middle Eastern men, 5 Pakistanis and 1 Afghani that were being smuggled in to the country with a group of Mexican nationals along the Arizona border. 2 smugglers have also been detained.

I know that the paris shooters were all EU citizens so they were already in place, but this refugee crisis is still a good way to get them in to the country so they can be ready for the next attack in the near future .

I am sure there are already cells in place in America just waiting for their orders, and maybe these 6 guys are here for something in a year or two.

They got these 6 guys but who knows how many have slipped through on that Border. Scary thought..

www.abc15.com...

s a standard procedure, agents processed the six individuals and checked their identities against numerous law enforcement and national security related databases. Records checks revealed no derogatory information about the individuals. The individuals are currently in federal custody.”

I hope that there is never another terrorist attack in the US caused by people that have come over the border illegally or even legally.

This is precisely what makes the argument against accepting refugees so ridiculous.

Why would a terrorist try to disguise themselves as a refugee and undergo 18 to 24 months of vetting by security agencies of numerous countries just to enter the U.S., when they could just hire a "coyote" to bring them in next week.

There is no such thing as "absolute" when it comes to securing borders, not ours or anybody else's.

That being said, it's good to hear that this time, the system worked. Kudos to our Border Security Agents.

It will be covered up somehow.

For the record all the terrorist in france were not nationals but all of the terrorist that are being identified are nationals. There are numerous refugees locked up today in france because of terror ties but that will not be reported.

Simple
the only border that they can cross with out papers is the southern us border. They need that refugee status to get to mexico. The same countries the usa rags on for having so many migrants are the same countries that are now protecting the usa with their borders.

yes kudos to the border guards

FYI, there are numerous points along our northern border where someone can just as easily walk right in.

Hell, I remember seeing a documentary where they showed what was basically a dirt road crossing the Canadian border. It had nothing more than a sign instructing travelers to step into the guard shack styled booth, pick up the phone receiver hanging on the wall and "self-report" their immigration status to the person on the other end of the line.

Yeah, that's one secure border right there.

It is pretty hard to get to Canada from Syria but you are correct.

Vice was showing a mosque on the Canada border and in the winter the water would freeze and they would just drive across.

How do you equate 6 people sneaking into the US to refugees?

Terrorists would be better off following these men's footsteps if they want to sneak into the U.S. Because they'd have a better chance getting in than pretending to be a Syrian refugee.
