Why do Muslim terrorists keep attacking us?

i know a few reasons, they want the west out of saudi arabia and the middle east, the jews out of israel, they want to be a super power among global policies and to be taken seriously. they have been getting bombed and losing innocent men, women and children to our air strikes, drones, and sanctions since the 90's. they feel the only way for the west to truly feel the pain of loss of life is for our innocents to die as well, they want to terrorize and scare the western public so much that we will bend and get out of the middle east but we won't because we back israel and more importantly OIL.

i'm not sure how we can live in peace and balance with islam when there are factions out there that are hell bent on islamic world domination and for the west to convert or die. islam and the west have been at war for 1000s of years and is the fastest growing religion on earth.

if islam continues to spread and overtakes world dominance i feel that the extremist factions would eventually take over and plunge us into the dark ages.

You know I have spent about a decade researching and studding Islamic terrorism, by that i do not mean as a keyboard warrior I mean I have actually spent time reading the academic literature, reading the history of this phenomenon in depth and even taking some university level study into the topic. I say this not to sound arrogant but rather to let you know that when i say you obviously do not know what you are talking about i say it as someone who clearly has more informed views on this.

If you truly understood this threat you would not be so quick to simplify it so harshly.

I have studied extensively Islam ,Christianity ,Judaism ,Hinduism and Buddhism so you can get off your high horse that you are so well studied ,so am I. And my point remains, no other religion ,while they have had people commit violence in their name has at its core violence.

I know i shouldn't but i read that and i burst out laughing.

The notion that you could over simplify such a complex issue then tell me that you have extensively studied it is a oxymoron if ever i have seen one. Islamic terrorism is a massively complex political socio-economic that to say "they hate us because we are not Muslim" is almost the definition of ignorance on this subject.

Now yes i know you like everyone else does not like to be called out on their own ignorance and you will insist that you have a in-depth understanding of the subject of Islamic terrorism. You might even want to try to show off a little bit by doing some google fact searching just so you can awe us all with your extensive knowledge on the subject.

But at the end of the day anyone who tries to simplify this the way you do obviously has not understanding of the complex nature of terrorism.

Please do yourself a favour and actually to the time to really research this a little bit more before making such ignorant claims then trying to stick by them as if you are some kind of authority on a subject that you quite obviously know nothing about.

Must be nice in your ivory tower to cast aspersions down among us "ignorant" people. The fact you have resorted to name calling shows me your intellectual level.

Its not name calling.

Saying that you are being ignorant is basically saying that based on what you have said so far in this post it is quite obvious that you have a knowledge cap when it comes to the topic at hand. It is not a insult, it is not name calling if your own ignorance seems to offend you then take the time to actually understand the topic properly because as i have said to you if you honestly believe that "they hate us because we are not Muslim" you are ignorant of the facts.

It's not like Western Powers ride around the streets of Arab homelands shooting guns out the window.

Nations fighting each other is different than a terrorist attack.

Yes because just look at all the terrorist attacks that were happening before we started occupying their lands. Our being in their lands is the main reason why they attack us and they have told us that time and time again. To say they just want to kill us because we are not Muslim is just ignorance and the fact that people of other faiths live in Muslim nations and are not killed just proves that point.

Yes I'm sure Jewish or Christian or atheists or opposing views of Muslim feel completely safe in a Muslim country.

Funny how the Jews in Iran chose to stay in Iran rather to taking money to move to Israel. If they didn't feel safe would they stay there?
