I also find it interesting and comical that some straight people believe they are superior.

I say they are drunk on their own egos.

You think that's a hetero thing? That's interesting. I wonder if you find a need to imagine I'm hetero.

It's not Preference, it's Sexual-Orientation.

They're the same thing.

You do know that Preference means choice, right?

Orientation is inherent.

You choose your preferences?

I don't require that belief. My preferences are decided before the rationalizations start.

It was a fair assumption based on the flow of the thread. If it was meant elsewhere no worries.

That doesn't make any sense.

Sure it does!

Choices require conscious thought, but preferences do not.

Preference is what you prefer. Your choice.

I understand you would like to narrow it's meaning towards a single definition across the board, but this doesn't bode well in reality.

They are not synonymous.

Preference means you have a Choice, we do not, it's our Orientation.

It has nothing to do with "Thinking About Sex" at any age, you are Born with a Sexual-Orientation the rest comes from that result

It was not a good assumption was it. It was meant elsewhere. My intentions are not to upset anyone on here, just joining in on the topic, that's all.

Remember, we were talking about the science. Preference would not indicate choice in many contexts. This is just silly semantics at this point.

Cool, I understand you believe this. I don't require this belief.

The subject at hand - - Homosexuals (not narrow - explicit)

Orientation - - inherent

Preference - - choice

So you have an issue with me using a term which would not line up with your belief, is this correct? I will continue to use the term because it lines up with my understanding of reality.

The same reason that I don't care for a sky god.

Because I value understanding and knowledge over belief.

Do you take into consideration when GLBTQ+ people say they never had that choice? or do you think we only "Believe" we never had a choice?

Is your Preference Coke or Pepsi? Is Your Preference Same Sex Or Opposite Sex? it's the same, preference means we have a choice on what or who we prefer. it's Orientation, even scientific studies say orientation.

on the topic of Scientific Studies, how about those that support we were born GLBTQ+? or is that just Bias Propaganda?

This clearly warrants further investigation. That's it, someone needs to do a study on thermometers and sexuality.

Oh No! I don't even use a thermometer. I use the back of my hand.

What does that mean? :O
