The people who make fun of

bigotry and prejudice towards Christians

It is so pervasive that the people who are
making fun of Christians see it as normal conversation
and when they say bigoted, ugly, and prejudiced things
they don't see it that way because they are
conditioned to see Christians as sub-human
for their beliefs.

is the pervasive idea
Christians are persecuting them daily.

Most of them have stated repeatedly
that the world would be better off
without religion and would like to
see religion abolished from the world.

(They deny that it means that religious
people must go to, because without

The only way to rid the earth of
all religion is to eliminate all the
religious people, but they deny this
and keep saying we are imagining things.

They don't want to kill religious
people just their religion and everything
associated with the religion. (associated

What we are seeing here
with the people who advocate
eliminating religion from the world
is a form of National Socialism
at it's finest.

I could care less if you are a non-believer
just don't go around inciting others to hate
so much that they act out because of the
hatred and venom that one spews toward
a particular group.
That is how it all started in Germany
when the National Socialists were in power.

These memes are pervasive in our society.

It was memes like these in pre-WWII Germany
used toward the Jews
that caused the holocaust.

Memes like these are dangerous
when said over and over

Instead of bitching about it, you could take what you perceive as hostilities towards Christians and deal with the bitter dose Christianity dished out for hundreds of years being thrown back at you in a humble manner of learning. A little "Hot damn, I see now this is what it felt like to not be a Christian in a Christian world for centuries upon centuries. No, you are misinterpreting what I wrote.

I was speaking to those atheists
who claim that getting rid of religion

To atheists who blame all Christians
for homophobia, abortion clinic bombings,

Who think the world would be better off

I was simply comparing that line of thinking
to the exact same line of thinking as

You are free to walk into the church of your choice, or any church for that matter, without fear of death, harassment or punishment?

You are free to walk into a bookstore or book section and purchase a Bible with no repercussion and keep it, display it, or give it to another person not in secret, but out in the open?

You have your own style of music played over the open air on radio stations that cater just to that musical genre?

You are free to stand anywhere you like and begin peacefully preaching your gospel to anyone who will listen with out being arrested for doing so?

Christmas is just around the corner and the "Christians" are no doubt gearing up for their annual war on Christmas spiel. Don't like it because the clerk at Walmart says Happy Holidays to you? There's nothing stopping you from wishing THEM a Merry Christmas. Don't like it because there is no Nativity scene in front of City Hall? There's nothing stopping you from going to Menards and FREELY purchasing one of your own and putting it up in your own damn yard.

i have pretty much given up organized religion but still a believer in jesus.
but i gotta tell ya, when i became a christian over 40 years go, it was not an easy decision and resulted in some people pole vaulting into bullying tactics. some of it was really quite bad.

Actually, I'm a Christian who thinks Dec 25th Christmas should
be abolished entirely.

It is NOT the actual or anywhere near the real date
of Christ's birth.

It has become an over commercialized
and materialistic and hedonistic
parody of what was supposed to be
a religious holiday.
