Contest Time.....Soon!

Hey guys.

So, I've dropped the ball repeatedly on this.

And I am terribly sorry about that. Summer gets busy and well, I have no real excuses. In any case, that's all over with now and it's time we start looking towards the next contest.

Too late for September, but October is around the corner and of course we have Halloween!

Anybody going to be terribly upset about a Halloween contest? I plan on opening the thing on the 1st and run it straight till November 2nd.

How about a pre Halloween mini contest for 7 days?

Theme: end of summer.

Well, since I wrote one for last year's Halloween, then chickened out, might as well try it this year.

I Love The idea of a Halloween Story/poem Contest!!! I also like the idea that 'NonJudgementalist' came up with for a 7 day mini contest with "End of Summer" as a theme...!!!

Yay!!!! I am giddy like a Japanese school girl over the thought of another contest.

I think the idea of a Halloween contest sounds sweet. Can't wait.

BUT I would not do that as it would not seem fair to do that. Or Honest...

I might try to give this one a shot. Sounds like a challenge.
I am by no means a writer, but my English Comp professor is trying to push me to write more so this might be a great outlet to hone in my (non)skills.

Hone away. I have Writer status now after entering a few of these contests. but it does NOT mean I am a pro or anything. But I do declare it is FUN to do these contests!!

I have written several poems and stories now since I have been here at ATS.
I enjoy doing it, and it is like a form of therapy for me to do so...

General halloween free-for-all. Themes be damned!

So when will parameters be made known? Theme, topics, length, etc. Seems very interesting and fun and I happen to be in the writing spirit! SyxPak interesting poem you posted. I'm curious what you ended up doing. It reads a bit rhymie, but very good! Doubt you'll remember me, but I was "godkiller". Anyways can't wait for this.

I like that...

So, any format, poem, story etc, but Halloween themed...( in whatever broad sense you'd like)
