Regressives should be made to start from scratch...

No house, no money, no weapons, no food, zilch...
Without a single helping hand nor progressive intuition to save you.

And be forced into DIY...

Not for any political reason...

Just my own personal amusement.

Bernie is too soft on the Zionists.
Bernie will soon become too soft on the billionaires...

Same old same old. Lying politicians, even more rhetoric, standard leftright paradigm pushers agenda to garner the flock's support.

I would just like to know and understand, what do you care, being British, what the USA does or votes into elected office?

Really, why do you personally care?

You're our main ally...

So, there is that minor detail.

why not, look at what we have with all the 'education' for profit….

Does a degree from one of the Ivy degree mills these days actually provide more than a rolodex?

Free college.

FREE COLLEGE?

It'll only be "free" if we simply surrender all our assets and let government dictate what we should have, eat, where we should live.

Anyone who believes people should be charged to be educated with knowledge that is freely available to all, either comes from a generation fooled into thinking its a commodity...
Or is just too right wing to be any benefit to a nation hoping to grow in all departments.

Nice try.

But nothing in life is free.

unless you want;
Professors to work with no salary
Dorms to be heated/cooled maintained for no costs
Food to be provided at no cost
Workers to supply support services at no costs
Books to be supplied at no costs
The makers of the books to work with no pay
School suppliers to work with no pay

Nicer try.

Professors/tutors should be paid out of taxes, along with healthcare, military, policing, fire services & nothing else.
Dorms are optional, therefore a commodity.
Food is a commodity, nothing to do with education.
What workers besides professors are you talking about?
Books fall under education and should be paid for by the government tax money long before it hits the pockets of politicians.
Who makes the books?
Schools should be adequately supplied by taxes.

But if you prefer to perpetuate the inherent inherited debt system currently under way, then I'd blame your generation rather than your political leaning.
It's all you've been "taught"...

Anything else is commie, I'm sure.

taxes taxes taxes !!!!!!! taxes heeeeey my solution is taxes. how about a tax??

You should change your ats name to The Tax Man

Cool!

So lead by example, having all the pedigree and experience in leading the world and all….

How has that worked out for the British Empire?

Government will use this to raise taxes.

We will all end up with less.

My standard of living will decrease as a result.

And you want me to cheer this on?

Render unto Caesar, that which is Caesar's.

I don't think Jesus would have appreciated your standpoint at all if I'm honest.

The screw you I'm alright is antithetical to such, in fact.

There's already one Senate candidate pledging to work with Bernie if they both win. With the recent SCOTUS ruling on redistricting for US Reps the GOP may even lose their grip on the House. If Bernie starts really gaining in the polls it would be indicative that he's getting the political revolution that he wants and at that point it may be wise for all left leaning Congressional candidates to make a similar pledge.

Your positioning higher education with police, etc. is slick but less likely to fly these days than ever before.

Even twenty years ago, I had given it thought. Now? Higher education looks more like political indoctrination than education. I, for one, will not pay for it.

Did I advocate a tax hike???

Or did I suggest a shift in what taxes should pay for?

Pretty sure it was the latter.

Can you show me any time in history where government reduced spending in order to pay for something else?

That my friend, is the only truly valid argument against...

If government controls education, it's a one way ticket to Nazi Germany.

The details need to be ironed out certainly.

So why do you think we consider you as an ally now?

Have you followed our lead lately with regards to international banking?

Have you supported anything more than serves your country first?

If not, why do you think we are such great allies?

Help the USA much with the AIIB? The LBMA????

Wake up Neo….

BTW, I don't really blame you however you left the gap open too darn big….

Sanders has some good ideas however a socialist progressive is the last thing I would want running the country. All the crap they spout works fine until they run out of other people's money.

But there are many who would not mind paying more taxes and having an even stronger nanny state.. Up to them ... maybe they will get what they wish for. Just like Mr. hope and change.

See, not even your loser politicians can say they've been that heartless.

Come on now get philosophical here.

Really, you should read up on Denmark though. It's government serves the people. Free education, free healthcare... truly free healthcare, high wages and higher individual freedoms. People are really happy there.
